The space
The Mango House is one of 3 vacation homes at The Last Resort. You’ll love the Mango House because:

LUXURY. We renovated the property with everything from stone countertops and Grohe bath fixtures to Restoration Hardware furniture and linens from West Elm and Crate & Barrel.

AMENITIES. From hammocks and board games to beach gear and BBQ grills to organic bath products and eco cleaning supplies - The Last Resort has every amenity your group needs to settle in and comfortably stay awhile.

CHEF-GRADE KITCHEN. The kitchen is outfitted with new, high-end appliances, including a Wolf stove, and is stocked with everything you need from Williams Sonoma.

OUTDOOR BATH. The master bath includes a Toto bidet toilet and two shower heads. If that’s not enough, you’ll step outside the bathroom and onto our brand new luxe outdoor bath featuring double rain shower heads and a custom basalt tub flanked by nature.

GARDENS. Our orchard & grounds have over a dozen varieties of fruiting trees, and our gardens are full of organic veggies, medicinal & culinary herbs, and tropical plants.

LOCATION. We’re 15 min from Hawi town and within easy driving distance to Waimea, Kona & many beaches. Keokea Beach Park & Pololū Valley are the two closest ocean access points.

OUTDOOR SPACES. With temperatures in the 70’s/80’s and a constant breeze, you’ll want to hang out on the Mango House’s wrap-around porch or on the sleeping porch all day. The private home also features a large wrap-around lawn and access to our orchard.

NATURE. The Mango House offers views of Maui, the ocean, a serene cow pasture and tons of foliage. You’ll hear sounds of running water in the nearby gulch, ocean waves, frogs and birds. Step barefoot off your lanai onto the cushy zoysia grass, perfect for lazy afternoons or stargazing.

Guest access
Guests will have full access to the Mango house! Additionally, guests have exclusive use of the Mango House lanai (wraparound porch), private backyard and parking area.

We have two other units on our property (Banyan House and Bamboo Suite) so you may see guests on the other side of the property during your stay. You're welcome to walk around our market garden, fruit orchard, and explore our food forests.

Other things to note
We have two other vacation rentals on our property. Unless you're renting all three of our listings, it is possible that there may be guests in the other home(s) during your stay.

Our property in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood in Kapaau. The county of Hawaii has one of the strictest dark sky ordinances in the world, so you'll enjoy clear starry nights. The safety and remote nature of our neighborhood allows you to fully escape!

We are located just over a mile from the beautiful and scenic Pololu Valley. It's a quick 10-minute drive into Kapa'au, our small town with a convenience store and several food options. Hawi Town is just 15 minutes driving distance, and has a few more options available including a grocery store, gas station and several dining options.
