The best place for exploring Oahu!

For my recommendations and what's where in the area please check Guidebook (scroll all the way to the bottom.)

Guest bathroom is located right next to your room. Lanai may be used for smoking. There's washer, dryer and dishwasher for your convenience. For all available amenities please check under "amenities".

Interaction with Guests
Most of the time I'm out of home, so you'll be on your own.
Launani Valley is one of the quietest neighborhoods on the island. Very conveniently located in the middle of the island.
-There's bus stop across the street. It's a bus 305 that take you either to Mililani Transit Center, which is major transit hub for central O'ahu where you can catch connection to all places.
-Approximate driving distances:
25 minutes drive to Honolulu
15 minutes to the beaches of North Shore
10 minutes to Schofield Barracks
5 minutes to Wheeler Airfield, Foodland and Mililani Shopping Center
1. 'approximately' is a keyword- actual times may be significantly extended due to heavy traffic in rush hours
2. these are driving times and not a riding times, if you riding a bus times are significantly extended)
Free guest parking available, however it is necessary to let me know ahead of the time if you are going to use it, and provide me with license plate number of your rental as soon as you get it, so I can obtain parking pass from management.
Please keep in mind that since there's no on-site manager parking may be not available for "last minute" guests. I apologize for any inconvenience that it may cause.
Other Things to Note
It's a pet friendly unit, however I can accommodate only one pet at the time and I already have a 75 lbs boxer-bulldog mix, so unfortunately I don't allow guests to bring their pets.
Also if you can not describe yourself as a "dog person" or "dog lover" you probably should consider other options out there.
#1. Please remove your shoes before entering the apartment. That's the common custom in Hawai'i.
#2. Smoking inside is not allowed. Attempt to smoke inside will set off smoke alarms. Feel free to smoke on the lanai.
#3. Drugs are not allowed.
#4. If you're below 21 y.o. I prefer you to not drink alcoholic beverages within apartment limits.
#5. Recycling: before your throw away cans or bottles wash them, so residue will not attract insects.
#6. Absolutely NO random guests a.k.a. one nite stands. If you want to get laid in Hawai'i I recommend to rent a hotel room in downtown.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Pawel was a fantastic host. We enjoyed our 4 night stay very much. Pawel gave us all the important information about the island and he even provided us with a rental car and gave us a lift from and to the airport. His apartment is very nice and clean. His dog Mack is adorable and very playful. Thank you Pawel for the great time!!
Pawel was a great host! He had a very clean, organized place. His dog was very well behaved, just be aware of him when entering the apartment so he doesn't escape. I never saw Pawel during my one night stay, but he answered both calls I made to him and was very helpful. I'd definitely stay with him again!
Great place. Great host. Great dog.
This was my first time using airbnb and I had a great experience. I don't know how this compares to other places on airbnb but I suspect I've been spoiled.
The space is exactly how Paweł described it. For some reason I didn't realize that I would have a bathroom all to myself which was a very nice surprise. I should add that in addition to a very convenient location (middle of the island), Mililani is also one of the nicest areas on Oahu and the Launani Valley neighborhood is very clean, safe, and peaceful. The living room and lanai are really facing rain forest and stream! I went on evening walks and jogs several times. A casual tourist might not realize that real estate prices in Hawaii are astronomical and the apartment's value is higher than one of average single family house on the mainland. And you get it almost entirely to yourself. Paweł is pretty busy and you will often be there alone.
Paweł should serve as a model for airbnb hosts. He makes sure to take care of every single detail. On my day of arrival he gave me a handy printout with house rules, wifi password, etc. He even came up with a way for his guests to conveniently access a second key in case they get locked out. It really felt very professional. At the same time, Paweł is a great guy to chat with. He stays out of your way just enough to make you feel very comfortable but is accessible enough to enjoy his company if you want it. As a host, Paweł epitomizes what is best about airbnb.
And then there is the dog. Mack is the most friendly, and playful dog I've ever seen. If you don't have a pet, Mack will make you want to get a dog. If you are a cat person, your stay at Pawel's will surely make you question your identity. If you are a dog person already, your departure will be an emotional one. Consider yourself warned.
Pavel was very accommodating even though we booked last minute and he even made it possible for us to park our car on site by moving his. A very clean and tidy apartment with nice bedroom and bathroom.
We loved his dog, Mack, a gentle giant.
''Little boxes on a hillside...little boxes all the same''
Pawel's place was clean and good to stay, in the middle of O'ahu which is nice when you want to visit both north and south. The dog is cool, our baby made more noise than him. It was a shame that we did not talk a lot with Pawel... not enough time? Too shy? too busy?... we'll never know...
Pawel is a thoughtful and considerate host. His dog Mack is absolutely adorable. The property is clean and comes with everything you need!
