  • Journee has a lovely, cozy apartment, which was immaculately clean, and surprisingly well stocked with little things that made our stay so much more comfortable (teas, Korean hot breakfast mix, and snacks like seaweed that our toddler loved).

Journee met us at the apartment, and was so helpful with offering advice on places to go and things to see. She has a binder full of ideas in the apartment you can peruse.

On the downside, I smelled a little cigarette smoke there one afternoon that I hadn't smelled the day before. It turned out it was coming from a neighbor's apartment. Via the bathroom fan vent! So I left the fan on, and never smelled another whiff of cigarette smoke for the week we were there.

If this is your first time using AirBNB, or you'd like to give something like this a try, you can't go wrong with Journee--she was the ultimate host. She even gave a parting gift to our little one!

    Thank you, Journee!

  • Jornee's place is awesome! It is exactly located at the city center, just right behind Jongro Tower so It is very convenience for me to move around Seoul. The studio is perfectly fully furnished, bed is big enough and mattress was super confortable, so that I can really sleep well during my stay. Kitchen is well equipped and she prepare yummy bread, milk, and juice I can eat for breakfast so I don't need to crave breakfast in the morning. :) Even though Seoul was super cold, studio was warm enough so that I can take a good rest. She is very kind and good for communication. I highly recommend this place for your Seoul trip! :) Thanks!

ex-business consultant, currently working at nonprofit organization
I love to travel, meet new people and explore new things/places. , I have worked at business consulting firm for more than 4 years and now I am working in non-profit organization. I have traveled to various destinations such as Cuba, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Columbia Thailand, New Zealand, Spain, Morocco, etc. Additionally, I am addicted to visit Jeju island and I often visit Jeju 3~4 times a year. (So, I can definitely recommend hidden place including hostel, restaurants and diverse types of experience ;) However, Seoul is definitely my favorite city (I have been living here for about 30 years) and I hope to share my love for this vibrant city with others through air BnB. As homeowner, I want guests to see, feel and get a taste of authentic Seoul. As a proud Seoulite, I invite you to come and enjoy the cherry blossoms of spring, the summer heat, streets decorated with autumn leaves and snow-laden trees of winter. Hopefully, here will be part of your cherished memories of Seoul when you return home.
