Nestled in a quiet neighborhood, our little home is an affordable option in the Hamptons. We have a big fenced-in backyard, washer and dryer in the basement, wifi, recently remodeled kitchen, 3 bedrooms and two full baths. King size beds in two interior bedrooms, and a day bed in a separate den/office. The backyard is fully fenced in and dog proof.
The kitchen was remodeled in 2010 with IKEA appliances. The basement includes an additional frig/freezer and washer dryer.
The neighborhood is quiet and residential. Our street does not have much traffic at all. Yet you're close enough to town and the beaches to be there in no time.
Check out our Southampton Master Bedroom listing if you are interseted in just renting the one bedroom with bath.
Jimmy was a great host and greeted my partner and I, as old friends, when we arrived to the house. His home is very well taken care of and has a great, big enclosed backyard for grilling. The house is very comfortable and clean in the North Sea area of Southampton, but not far from the village, if you want to go out to eat or see some local entertainment.
If you want to go to the beach, I highly recommend Road D beach on the ocean side off Meadow Lane, which does not require permit parking as every other beach in Southampton requires. Coopers Beach is just down the street, but you have to pay $40 to park at Coopers. Get to Road D early, if you are going on the weekend, since it's limited on parking..also no facilities or lifeguard, but you can take your dog and it's a gorgeous beach!
We will definitely stay at Jimmy's again, thanks Jimmy!
I very much enjoyed this house. It has a fabulous and very private back yard and is a great spot to relax. This house is a great value.
Jimmy and Brian are superb hosts. The house was terrific, the photos don't really do it justice, particularly the wonderful backyard. Jimmy and Brian were always available to answer questions and responded very quickly. Everything in the house worked perfectly (how many of us can say that about our own homes?), they graciously allowed us to take whatever we wanted from the fully stocked kitchen, and when we thought we had left something behind (it turned out to be a false alarm) they quickly volunteered to search for it. If you are looking to reserve a house in Southampton, you CAN'T go wrong selecting this one.
Jimmy was a great host. His home was beautiful and very welcoming - we felt right at home and comfortable there. It's a short drive from the house to the centre of Southampton and to Sag Harbor, but it's also quiet and cosy, with a beautiful backyard.
