SoMa's multifaceted character brings together all sorts of people. Tech-savvy entrepreneurs rub elbows with well-read bohemian types, and museum curators share the sidewalks with ill-groomed individuals. Hip bars, clubs, and specialty coffee cafes hide among SoMa’s increasing number of vacant industrial warehouses awaiting renovation. On game day, visitors to SoMa include those looking to hear the crack of the bat—this neighborhood is the home of the San Francisco Giants.

I arrived very late, the first night, but the host (who was filling in for Maria and Graham) made the effort to greet me, never-the-less.
The space is lovely: a quiet refuge from the dynamism of SoMa. Everything inside reinforces that sense of warmth, order, and comfort. I loved the palpably-experiential photography, the well-organized setting, and the effective use of space.
The planning and summaries provided were excellent, and the efficiencies of the place made it easy to come and go at my terrible hours with minimal disruption.
Everything was clean and well-cared-for, with amenities generous. I would heartily recommend to anyone staying in SF.
Maria has been a great host and her place is perfect: well located - it's easy to walk from there- and you have nice cafes/restaurants in the neighbourhood, it is clean and well equipped. My room (the red room) was big enough, bed was comfortable. Nice balcony in the flat to enjoy a nice view from. Shared areas were nice. Definitely would stay back if I have the chance to go back to this amazing city. Definitely an advantage that Maria's willing to share that much about her knowledge of the neighbourhood and the city and her stuff with everyone.
Maria was absolutely fabulous..Very cool, chilled out person :) I really liked the way they have organised their kitchen for guests. It was really useful for quick bites. Room was spacious, neatly organised and I had most of things handy for my stay. The neighbourhood is good, very close to downtown and I mostly relied on Uber for transportation. I was nervous as this was my first BnB experience but I am encouraged to explore more BnB options for my business / personal travel.
Great stay in one of 4 rooms Maria's is renting out through AirBnB. Indian vibe (incense) and commune feel of this place was really nice. She has a great system of stickers which food guests can use and which not. Maria is laid back and kind, which makes her a great hostess!
