SoMa's multifaceted character brings together all sorts of people. Tech-savvy entrepreneurs rub elbows with well-read bohemian types, and museum curators share the sidewalks with ill-groomed individuals. Hip bars, clubs, and specialty coffee cafes hide among SoMa’s increasing number of vacant industrial warehouses awaiting renovation. On game day, visitors to SoMa include those looking to hear the crack of the bat—this neighborhood is the home of the San Francisco Giants.

I love Maria & Graham's house. I stayed there one before, in a different room, and felt comfortable and welcome. Everything is clean and well organized so that you can enjoy your stay.
The only downside of the house is the neighbourhood, with lots of homeless people and all the dirt, noise, and smell that come with the package. I only found this out upon my first stay and I had already book my second one, so I couldn't do anything about it.
The teal room was small, but well arranged to accommodate guests. However it had only one window giving to the interior staircase of the house - hence no direct natural light or fresh air. This was a major disadvantage from my point of view - I would not have called it a room lest it had a real outdoor-facing window. I had only booked one night there, so it was no big problem, but I wish I had seen this in the advertisement.
It's a nice place to stay in SF, very quiet.
Unfortunately I didn't have the chance to meet my hosts.
The listing was accurate. Lovely home to stay in. Very clean and area had a lot of restaurants and pubs you could walk to. I really enjoyed my stay.
Maria and Graham have an excellent place in the heart of San Fran. Their house has very artistic decor and photography. I would stay again on my next trip!
I chose to stay here while attending a conference at the Moscone Center. It was an ideal situation. The house was cute, tidy and very comfortable. The room was just as described. I didn't get to meet Maria or Graham, but the kitchen and bathrooms were tidy and restocked daily. The neighborhood is gritty, but I walked home alone from the convention center late in the evenings ( between 10 & 11 pm) and felt safe. This is a really great place to stay.
Maria and Graham's place was just perfect! Great location, comfortable space, and super accommodating -- I was only there for one night, and wish I could have spent more time around their beautiful place. While I didn't get a chance to meet Maria and Graham in person they were great communicators and provided a lot of information about logistics, navigation, and even had a great list of local recommendations. Highly recommend!
