About this listing
The Treehouse is a wonderful space, surrounded by fruit trees, meandering steam and Moloaa valley magic.
This is a great place for those that appreciate simple beauty and nature. It comes with bikes for a quick 3 minute ride to wonderful Moloaa bay or a 10 minute walk.
Come cross the bridge over Moloaa stream that runs through the property and find; bananas, papayas, coconuts, avocados, suriname cherries, jackfruit, starfruit, noni, mangos, lychee, longon, mountain apples and more food that we grow on our land.
This is a place to remember our connection to the wonder of life. It is a place to relax, unplug, and experience life the way it once was. Come enjoy the open air structures, the healing ocean, and the beauty that is Old Kaua’i. We look forward to sharing the wonder of Moloaa with you.

Interaction with Guests
We are happy to talk with our guest if they want to know about anything. We also are happy to let our guest have their own personal retreat time without interuptions.
We are just a few minutes from Moloaa Bay, which is great for swimming, snokling on the north and south sides, enjoying the nice beaches and hiking to the north point for sunrise to see turtles or whales.
We also have Moloaa fruit stand just up the road for coffee, smoothies, sandwiches; as well as a good health food store 10 minutes drive to the north. Also Common ground garden restaurant across from the health food store has organic and local breakfast and lunches that are wonderful.
We really recommend renting a car due to the fact that Kaua'i is very spread out.
That said, the bus stop is up the hill at Moloaa fruit stand and hitch hiking is common and easy in Kauai.
We appreciate people who like the beauty of quietness and are interested in the natural ways of Kauai. No smoking indoors, moderate drinking okay.
The tree house is even more beautiful than described... pictures don't do it justice. Set in quiet (well, except for the rooster alarm clock) valley full of fruit trees, you won't find a better place to truly experience the beauty of Kaua'i. The whole place, including the shared areas (shower, bathrooms, kitchen) is meticulously clean and well thought out. Overall I would say the tree house was the best accommodation I have ever stayed in.
The place is great -- beautiful and peaceful, with friendly fellow travelers there to share the experience. Anthony and Hami were very welcoming, but also let us be on our own. All the rooms and facilities show a lot of attention to detail -- it feels like they really anticipate all your needs in advance and create a wonderful atmosphere.
The pictures do not do this locale justice. The area is amazing and the overall experience is something that will be missed dearly. Kauai is terrific island for sightseeing, hiking, surfing or swimming. Plenty of beaches to go to, and the Moloaa bay that is just a short walk away was my favorite to go relax at. When you stay, go up the Moloaa bay trail, on the left of the bay, and you can look down o. The bay at sea turtles! Fantastic!!
If you are someone that is uneasy about insects or needs AC, then this isn't for you. Staying here is closest compared to camping in a cabin. You will see spiders, ants, gnats, mosquitos, etc. The insects never bothered us so it's not bad.
Anthony and Hami have a few rooms on the property, and the common area is used by all. This gave me a sense of community and we found ourselves talking with complete strangers about fun things to do on the island and going to the beach together. This was my favorite part of staying here!
Anthony and Hami were great hosts and I am so very glad we were able to stay with them and experience Kauai from their lens. Overall a must in terms of vacation experiences, highly recommended!!
We spent 4 nights at the treehouse. The setting is beautiful, nestled in the trees on beautiful grounds and close to a great beach.
Personally I was a little anxious about the bathroom set-up. The shower is in the shared space, but is only separated from the kitchen by a shower curtain with no space to dry or clothe. The toilet was similar, with some awkward moments.
This type of thing doesn't both a lot of people, but I am quite a private person by nature.
Other than that, we had a great time and the hosts were very welcoming. Thank you.
My girlfriend and I spent some wonderful days in the Treehouse. Anthony and Hami are great hosts and lovely people. Anthony built everything on his land by himself, and you can see and feel the though and energy he put into it. Simple, peaceful, beautiful and inspiring. His place is for travelers who want to be in direct contact with the lush and diverse nature of Kauai. Yes, you will hear the frogs at night and the roosters in the morning! :-)
The communal kitchen area is impregnated by a spirit of exchange and sharing. You are welcome to harvest and eat the fresh fruits that grow on the premises: Mangoes, papayas, litchis, and tons of coconuts.
Anthony and Hami live on the premises and are available for questions or travel-tips. Anthony will usually reply to messages over Airbnb within the hour.
Also, check out the other rooms he offers: We have already returned, and we will surly be back for more in the future.
If you like it real, this is your place!
If you like resorts, air-condition and sterile environments, go somewhere else!
We had an amazing time at the tree house! Anthony and Hami f were wonderful hosts we enjoyed sharing their paradise for our trip and wish we could have stayed longer! I loved all the beautiful foliage, the nice decorations, and just the sheer beauty of nature that surrounds them. if you love nature, don't expect 5 star resort fussiness, and comfortable in a natural environment you will love it!! Especially enjoyed. outdoor shower! They have great common room that should be more than adequate for meal preparation. I am an insomniac but slept better than I have in years! We love Kauai and the piece of paradise at this lovely Air BnB accommodation!
Anthony and Hami were awesome - full of useful information, lovely to chat with and welcoming. The Treehouse doesn't have a/c but I never needed it. The bed was really comfortable. I had been concerned about Mosquitos, but I didn't even need the net at night (and the bugs LOOOVE me, so that says something). Loved having the beach just a short walk down the road - it was the nicest beach I experienced on Kauai and never crowded. A real insider gem. They have snorkel masks and find to borrow - pretty much anything you would need for a day at the beach. The property itself is a lush garden and I enjoyed hanging out and reading. Only 15 min from Kapa'a and 20 min from Princeville all of the North shore is extremely accessible. The Treehouse does share a bathroom (not attached to the house itself) so if that doesn't work for you, you might want to look at one of their other properties that does have an attached toilet. Yes, the roosters crow early in the morning but that is true everywhere on Kauai where you aren't on a resort property. Earplugs solve it for light sleepers, but after a couple nights it didn't wake me up any more. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.
