Great hostel, super location and modern Rooms.
Even at 5 in the morning we were welcome to stay in the hostel waiting for our Room.
They really took care of us!
Would really recommand this!
I would recommend Wakapunku to anyone. We stayed for 5 nights before and 2 nights following our Inka Trail trek. We stayed in rooms 4 & 3 respectively. The rooms were a very good size; 4 being the largest in the hotel I believe. We loved the decor and the rooms were very clean. Lots of power outlets, all taking the standard US style plug. Both rooms faced the street. That means lots of sounds and smells at all hours of the day and night, Cusco is a busy city so this should come as no surprise. The location is superb, walking distance to many sights, shops, and eating/drinking establishments. We received a reduced rate due to the length of our stay. Wakapunku is an exceptional value as the price was very fair. We did have some issues with our room (a slow shower drain), which were quickly resolved. Everyone at the hotel is very nice and while not everyone is fluent in English, this is Peru. Come with some Spanish. Overall our experience was excellent.
Wakapunku was very pleasant. The rooms were clean and it's right in the heart of Cusco, close to everything. The staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for those wanting to be in the action surrounding the Plaza de Armas.
A great little find and value in Cusco. Near to everything, gracious staff, immaculate room & bath, at a great price. Excellent WIFI too!
El hotel es muy lindo, muy comodo y caliente para el frío de (website hidden) super centrico a una cuadra y media de la plaza de armas, recomiendo al 100%.
Wakapunku Boutique was a great find in the heart of Cusco. The hotel is bright and clean, with modern decor and a cozy atmosphere. It is conveniently located within easy walking distance of the main square and has restaurants, as well as a general store, right next door.
The front desk staff was helpful and gave us entertainment recommendations, called our tour company to make sure everything was set up, and saved us about 75% on the taxi back to the airport by arranging it for us. In the mornings, the staff had tea and light snacks available to get the day started.
Overall, I highly recommend it and would stay there again on a repeat trip to Cusco.
This boutique hotel is located very centrally. The room was quite large with a modern decoration, as presented on the pictures. Bathroom is a bit small but well equipped. This is a very good value for price!
Very cute place to stay. It was very central to where we needed to go. Room was great, shower was hot. Breakfast was simple, toast, cereal, fruit but it did its job. I would recommend for travelers to stay. Great for the location and price.
Stay at Wakapunka!!!!
What a great place to base ourselves in Cusco ... close to everything you need to see and do in Cusco, a modern clean spacious room .... decorated with Peruvian flair!
Juan and his small team are just so lovely and friendly. All speak English and can not do enough to help and make you feel welcome and comfortable.
A basic but sufficient breakfast to get you on your way is included in the price. Juan also made sure there was a room available for our VERY early morning check in ... which allowed us to have a quick snooze after our VERY early bus arrival from La Paz .. enabling us to head out clear headed and ready to enjoy all that the beautiful ciudad of Cusco has to offer.
If I am lucky enough to get the opportunity to return to Cusco and Machu Picchu .. I will definitely be knocking on the door of Wakapunku Boutique Hotel.
