The best room with a view in Oxford! This 5 starred double room, with its own en suite bathroom, overlooks Oxford and the hills beyond. Within walking distance of the city centre, and well served by frequent buses. Teddy and Nicola welcome you!
Lovely double room with a view over the city of Oxford, in leafy Hill Top Road, complete with own bathroom and tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. The house is owned by Teddy and Nicola and their two cats, and they are happy to offer you a warm welcome and to tell you about the joys of living in the most beautiful city of dreaming spires.
We would hope you'll be able to stay a few days to make the most of all the restaurants, cinemas and theatres in the city, and to get to know the museums and fabulous range of shops.
Hill Top Road is beautifully quiet, and is just by South Park, where the number 4 buses take you into the centre of town in less than 5 minutes, and the Cowley Road with yet more buses going into town.
Teddy and Nicola used to run a large Residential Arts Centre in southern France and are always delighted to meet new people and help them to make the most out of their stay. They both speak fluent French, and Nicola speaks rusty Spanish as well.
The number 4 bus runs from the Railway Station to the top of Morrell Avenue, which is a 2 minute walk from the house. The 5 and 1 buses also run close by, on the Cowley Road, which is a 6 minute walk from the house.
Guests are have tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. They have their own private bathroom adjoining the bedroom, and breakfast is provided in the downstairs kitchen.
Comfortable room, welcoming hosts, varied breakfast with excellent coffee provided. With off-street parking and a ten minute bus ride to the city centre, what more could you need? Splendid digs.
My parents stayed at Nicola's for a few nights while visiting me in Oxford. The apartment is a little away from the city centre, but the bus stop is just around the corner, and it takes only 15 minutes to get there. They had a very pleasant stay: the room is bright and large, with a private bathroom, and the neighbourood quiet and pleasant.
They enjoyed their breakfasts (fruit, yoghurt, cereals, ...) very much! Nicola and Teddy were very friendly and gave us much appreciated suggestions which helped us planning our visit. I would definitely recommend it!
Big thanks to Nicola and Teddy for making me feel so welcome. everything was just great. I home to see you again when i am next in Oxford.
A perfect place to stay! Thank you Nicola for the beautiful room, tasty breakfast and friendly hospitality. I had an excellent stay.
It's a complicated decision to leave your country. Fortunately I stayed for a few days in a very comfortable, charming, absolutely lovely house. That, somehow, helps you to cope with the new situation. But what made me feel really very lucky was to receive the support, kindness, good advices, and help in many ways from Nicola and Teddy. I know I will always remember them. Clearly a highly advisable choice.
good stay, we had a lot to do in oxford and only came in overnight. got a bit too cold one or two nights, but quite allright and it was quite cold outside. room in the mezzanine on the second floor and a private bathroom/ toilet on the same level, generally a very positive impression.

We are a couple, my husband is a sculptor, I am a writer and artist, we live in a lovely road at the top of a hill overlooking oxford, with two cats. ideally, we would love to have two kinds of guests - the b and b tourist or professional (we are near Brookes Univ and also three big hospitals) and also a longer stay family who might want to rent the whole house in the spring or summer, for low rent in exchange for looking after two cats. we are used to having people in our home, having run a big residential arts centre in France for twenty years.
