This really is the perfect place to crash in the heart of Williamsburg, or, as the New York Times calls it, 'The hippest neighborhood in the United States.' We're located steps away from the shopping, restaurants, and bars that Williamsburg has become legendary for. We're also a block away from the L train, which gets you to Manhattan in about 6 minutes.
This apartment is the ground floor of a Brooklyn Townhouse. It has its own private entrance so you can come & go as you please without disturbing the other residents. It easily sleeps 6 on a queen bed, a queen tempurpedic pull-out sofa & two chairs that convert to twin beds.
The apartment has a studio-style alcove layout and features a full bathroom as well as a kitchenette (fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc), a 42' flat screen tv AND an Atari pre-loaded with 75 games! How cool is that?!
Buildings are funky in New York & ours is no exception- if you are super tall, you may feel cramped. My husband is 5'9' & he's fine in there, but if you're over 6', you will have to duck occasionally. And that, ladies & gentlemen, is what we call Brooklyn charm ;)
This is TRUE Williamsburg- 11211. Graham stop on the L train. Beware places claiming to be 'East Williamsburg' or 'Williamsburg adjacent'.
Pet friendly, non-smoking. Discounted weekly & monthly rates.

It was great experience. Not a big space but we were 5 and have enough room. Rachel is a super nice an patient host- I deffinitely wanna come back.
This sweet little apartment was just what we were looking for in Williamsburg. My family of four was very comfortable here and I would recommend these accommodations to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Great hostess and it worked great for my girls. Thank You.
Rachel was easy to get in touch with and very hospitable. Her place was pretty clean and comfortably slept my group of 4. We only stayed for the weekend so the place was there for what we needed it for which was basically just sleeping. It's about a 5 min walk from the graham L stop and close to the great parts of Brooklyn. I'd say if I were going to stay any longer than a weekend I would have wanted a kitchen and probably a bigger space, but this place had what we needed- microwave, mini fridge, wine glasses and a coffee maker. Beware however, that this is a very basic basement set up, low ceilings, kind of small, and it was a little stuffy if you can deal with that this place is perfect for you. The best part was that we didn't have to bother with exchanging keys bc Rachel has a simple and super easy lock box key pad that allows you access to the apartment. Thanks Rachel for a great stay in NY!
We had a great stay at Rachel's apartment, we were there for new year's eve and 2 more nights and it was a really pleasant stay!.
The apartment is a little small for more than 4 people, but i stayed there with my family of 5 and had no space problems as we spent most of the time touring around the city.
Great access to the subway only a block away and you can get to Times Square in 15 minutes.
Rachel and her husband were really nice to us, once we had a problem with the a lamp and it was fixed on the spot by her husband, also when we were there it snowed a lot and they made sure to take the snow out of the entrance of the basement for us on the morning.
If you are looking for a more affordable place to tour around new york this is your place.
the appartment was nice and well located, very close to the metro. It is important to notice that there is no kitchen what so ever, impossible to cook and eat in the appartment. Other than that, no problem during our stay.
Really great stay at Rachel's home!
She was so kind with us, we stay there for 6 nights. Our flight arrived to new York early, and she gave us the possibility to check in until 4 PM, the same with our return, we stay at the appartment until night, waiting for our flight: We really appreciate this oportunity!
The department is fine, a little small for more than 3 people, but if you go to vacacation you will be out all day long, so it's not a big problem.
You'll find all you need, towels, sheets, a fridge, a TV, etc.
The subway is just one block from department, and the access to Manhattan is very fast.
thank you so much Rachel!
Rachel's place in Brooklyn made our stay nice and stress-free - street parking at no cost, easy access to the apartment, great location with groceries, subway & wicked bars just a short jaunt away! The place was clean & had a helpful hand-made guide with local restaurants & ideas for outings.
The closest subway got us into Manhattan in about 15 minutes - another option if you want to wander into the city but not stay! Also, it runs all night...
The place itself does sleep six, but was a bit crowded for us with all the beds down at night (as we were a group of six). However, we knew that going in so we were prepared. It's a small trade-off for all of the great things about the place!
I stayed with my thee daughters at Rachels apartment and we had a great time! Rachel and her husband are helpful and friendly. The neighborhood is cool and relaxed. Bente
We spent 4 nights here and had a great time. The location was fantastic. Just minutes away from some of the fantastic bars and restaurants of Williamsburg.
The apartment itself is a converted basement that has been very nicely finished. Some lovely touches included the chalkboard door full of information to help you explore the area, the Atari games console and the key code door system which meant coming and going was a breeze.
We never crossed paths with Rachel but she was very helpful and responsive, especially as we were leaving late and she allowed us to store our luggage way past our check out time.
A fantastic setup - I'd return in a heart beat to explore more of Williamsburg.
