This early 1900’s, 1000 sq ft Queen Anne Cottage, sleeps 6, and is located in the heart of the Loess Hills. The home features: 2 bed/2 bath, stocked kitchen, dining room, living room/sofa sleeper, 50”smart tv, and WiFi. Unique features include: original pocket doors, corded/weighted window sashes, and antique pieces. Step back in time while enjoying the modern conveniences of central heat/AC, appliances, luxury bedding, and high speed internet.
The space
This 1000 sq ft, 2 bed/2 bath home features an updated kitchen, large dining room, living room with sofa sleeper, two all new baths, 50 inch smart tv, and high speed WiFi.
The fully stocked kitchen has been updated with all new appliances (refrigerator, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher), new shaker style cabinetry, farmhouse sink, and the original, restored built in kitchen cabinet from the early 1900’s.
The dining room features a table and seating for 6. Other original features of this room include: an exposed central brick chimney, original antique windows with cords and weighted sash, and stunning double wide pocket doors.
The first bedroom includes an antique mahogany queen sized bed with new medium plush mattress, matching antique mahogany dresser, luxury linens, and black out draperies.
The main bathroom features a 42” walk-in glass shower, 36” marble vanity and stained glass look window.
The living room consists of a 50” smart tv, full sized sofa sleeper, original crystal antique picture window, and several family games and puzzles for your enjoyment.
The second en-suite features an antique mahogany queen sized bed with new medium plush mattress, matching antique mahogany chest of drawers, and luxurious bedding and blackout draperies.
The attached bath consists of a 42” walk-in glass shower, solid surface vanity top, stained glass style window and antique pocket door.

Moorhead is a small, quiet, rural town. The home is located on a corner lot. The city park with playground equipment, shelter, sand volleyball, picnic tables and charcoal grills is just one block south.
Meet your host
I was born and raised in Moorhead. My Great, Great Grandfather, John B. Moorhead, founded the town and my family has lived here for 6 generations. After moving away from Moorhead for our professional careers, we were thrilled to get the opportunity to purchase a 1906 family home several years ago. A few years later, we got the opportunity to purchase The Cottage which was also originally a family home! We love spending time in Moorhead!
