My quirky and cosy double bedroom flat in the Porthall area of Brighton is located on a quiet street with views at the front of the building overlooking Brighton. Enjoy easy access to central Brighton, the sea, and the buzzy 7-Dials area.
Lovely - and very quiet - double-bedroom flat 20 minutes walk from Brighton Station, 10 mins to the buzzy Seven Dials area & just 5 mins from Preston Park. A perfect base from which to explore Brighton.
(Here are 51 Things You Must Do In Brighton
(Also has off-road parking)
Incredibly comfy bed; and I'll provide you with fresh linen and pillows.
I'll provide towels. Do also feel free to use the bathroom stuff (shampoo etc).
The Living room
has a flat screen t.v. and wireless internet. There is also a single roll-out futon mattress (not the most comfortable thing in the world, but there if you wanted to put one other person up).
has a gas stove and self-cleaning (!) oven. Feel free to use the washing machine also.
There's a great pub round the corner for Sunday roasts, with real fires in the winter. Five minutes down the road, along Lover's Walk, is Preston Park - a great place for brunch or just a cup of tea at the Rotunda cafe, overlooking the rose garden. Public tennis courts here too.
The walk into Brighton (about 15 mins) takes you through the Seven Dials area - lots of trendy cafes and places to eat.
In the other direction are the South Downs. During the summer, the No. 77 bus (2 minutes away) will take you up there - it's a very regular service on an open-topped bus. I recommend the walk to the Shepherd & Dog pub.
The whole flat.
Interaction with Guests
I'll meet you on the day and show you round. And that's the last you'll see of me! (But if you need me, you just need to text or call).
The regular no. 27 bus stop is just round the corner, and will drop you in to town in ten minutes, if you don't fancy the walk.
The only rule is to enjoy yourself*
*and to please try to leave the flat as you found it.
Michaela was in touch straight away. We had a little mix up about the keys but resolved easily and quickly. Apartment as described, exactly what I was after - a home to come back to at the end of the day.
We had a great stay at Michaela's flat. It is a very comfy place with lots of books and art and we felt very at home. Everything you need is there and it all works.
We didn't get to meet Michaela but the arrangements for the keys worked fine.
The flat is easy to find and although it's not in the centre of Brighton, It has a lovely position on the hill with amazing views. The private parking space is a real bonus as parking in Brighton can be a nightmare.
We had a fantastic stay at Michaela's flat - it was charming, so comfortable and welcoming, and in a fantastic location! It was lovely to have somewhere to come back to and wind down after a busy day that felt really homely.
Michaela couldn't have been more helpful in giving us instructions and kindly leaving us to use the flat as if it were our own - we really appreciated how generous she was as a host.
Lovely place, great location (walking distance to the Laines and close to the Seven Dials area) and a top host!
Thank you Michaela for allowing us to stay in your home. It felt warm, comfortable and inviting.
Michaela was a top host, very flexible with check in and check out times and great communication all along. The flat was ideal and just as described. I would highly recommend this flat to others. The off road parking was a real bonus too.
Great place to stay in Brighton! Although michaela couldn't be there to let us in it all worked out fine and it was fab to be able to park off the street right in front of the flat.
Michaela's flat is very homely and arty, and it was a very easy 25 mins walk into town centre.
I would definitely stay there again when going to Brighton.
This is my very first Airbnb booking, we were warmly welcomed by Michaela. Communication is fantastic, she always helped with any concerns prior to our stay. Michaela's flat is exactly as described a real home from home. The use of the whole flat made our stay very enjoyable. A nice surprise with a bottle of wine and lovely finishing touches (chocolate on the pillows) really made our stay special. The area is nice and quite, and a good distance from the station. We will certainly book again .....and recommend.
