Apartment was just as described, nicely equipped and convenient to all. Rok was a great communicator before and during our stay. Terrace is lovely and bedroom is spacious. Two bathrooms are a plus!
This apartment was fantastic. Perfect location, clean and well appointed with nice little touches. The terrace is beautiful with a great view over Piran. We were met just after we arrived and were shown through the apartment (and even helped with our bags). Prior to arrival we were provided with excellent instructions (including pictures!) on how to reach the apartment. Highly recommenced this apartment.
Very pretty appartment. We would come back any time and thank Rok lots for lending us this lovely appartment. It is very tastefully furnished and has a very comfortably bed...A real highlight is a second "balcony" overlooking the rooftops of Piran which you can access via ladder. As we are keen cooks we were very happy to find a garlic presse, blender in the cosy kitchen. :)
Rok made us feel very welcome, and the apartment was even better than expected! The town is charming and the views from the balcony are amazing.
The adorable apartment was absolutely perfect for us (family with two boys, age 13 and 11). We felt at home from the first minute and thus were able to enjoy the beauty of Piran to the full extent.
3 minutes to the beach, 3 minutes to our favourite tavern/restaurant at 1st May Square, 2 minutes to the supermarket, 1 minute to Tartini Square (where our boys played football every evening), 1 minute to the market and the bakery - you name it!
The view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, and we were certainly envied by many tourists taking pictures of the beautiful town from Saint George's Parish Church on the hill.
Thanks for making it happen, Rok! We'll be back for sure!!!
Everything worked out well, host responded very quickly and was reliable. Great place to explore Piran. Would definately come again.
As probably everybody on this planet, I am able to talk about myself for hours :), but when faced with the task of actually writing something down on the empty piece of paper (or screen in this case) I have a bit of a problem. Sure, I can jot down some basics about myself, but that seems quite boring.
However, to satisfy your curiosity I'll give you some information so you may believe I actually exist in the real life.
I was born at the end of the 70s in the city of Kranj but have lived in Ljubljana (capital of sLOVEnia) my whole life. Lawyer by profession I work in one of the largest Slovenian companies.
I have a great wife and a lovely daughter plus a playful Labrador retriever – they all keep me pretty busy, but I like it that way.
Before starting a family, my wife and I enjoyed travelling – well, we still do, but given the circumstances (see above), we had to put it on hold for a while – and visited some interesting countries, like Japan for instance (great country, strongly recommend). The picture of me was actually taken in Spain during the best vacation we ever had – best, due to various reasons :), but I won't bore you with details.
In my youth and teens I trained tennis, but thanks to current busy schedule, you won't see me chasing the ball on the court these days – my daily recreation usually consist of taking the Buddy for a walk, sometimes holding the hand of my daughter simultaneously – oh, how people melt at this sight.
In my spare time (hey, what's that again?!) I also enjoy cooking with my wife - well, to be honest, she does most of the cooking but I perform the eating part perfectly – and having a glass (or two) of fine Slovenian wine (honestly, Slovenia does have a very good wine).
So, there you have it, I told you it's not very intriguing, and I dare say this piece won't make it your top 5 most interesting readings (well, if it by any chance does, you should seriously reconsider your reading habits). However, you should get some perspective of me which is in fact the basic idea.
Have fun (and come to Piran :) )
