The Space

You will be sharing this large (1130 ft2 / 105 m2) beautiful 3-room flat with my cat. It's located in the vibrant neighborhood of Neukölln, close to Hermannplatz, on the border to Kreuzberg.

You've got funky Berlin-bars and cafés just across the street and around the corner. And small design boutiques and coffee places are only a few minutes walk away. You'll also have plenty of supermarkets, and department stores in walking distance (5-10 minutes). You'll get to Stadtbad Neukölln, an indoor swimming pool and sauna, by foot in less than 10 minutes. The public bath was considered one of Europe’s most beautiful baths when it was built in 1914, and is definitely worth a visit (usually open from early morning to 22:00 in the evening).

Well connected to the rest of the city by U-bahn and bus (Alexanderplatz in 15 minutes, Potsdamer Platz in 25 minutes, Schönefeld Airport and Tegel Airport in about 40 minutes).

Wi-Fi is available. Kitchen is equipped with high quality pots and pans. Washing machine is also at hand.

The bedroom has a king size double bed. (180x200cm).

NB: Please note that you will be sharing the flat with an indoor cat, in case you have any allergies. He is a lovely guy, and easy to get along with.

  • We had a great time in Thomas's flat. If you like small cafe and nice bar for the evening, Neukölln is full of them. The flat itself is big, calm and nicely decorated. Thomas gave us lot of informations and nice address. And if you like cats, Spike is an "amour".

  • What a wonderful flat! We had a great time, here. We stayed for a weekend, and the flat is really a pleasure to stay in. Large, bright, clean, very well-equipped, with the one minus of not having an iron or ironing board, and even a very friendly cat, who will greet you when you arrive, and serenade you for a minute or two while you fall asleep. Seriously, Spike will talk to you from the other side of the door for a minute, and then leave you to sleep peacefully. It was really wonderful to stay here!

  • We had an amazing stay at Thomas apartment! The apartment is huge, but yet so cozy with lovely art and furniture. It reflects the creative atmosphere which you can find in and around Neukolln.

It is well positioned with plenty of nice bars and restaurants. And just a 5 minute walk from an U-Bahn.

Be aware off of the dangerously GOOD bed. It ruined our whole day planning, twice... Just amazing.

Spike, the house cat, treated us with plenty of love. Purrrrr...

Thanks again Thomas for our incredible stay! Your tips and active mailings helped us to feel really at home.

    Would recommend 10/10!!

Hope to see you next time!

  • A beautiful, comfortable flat in a great part of town!

Although we didn't get to meet Thomas in person, all email communication was friendly, easy and any questions were answered very promptly.

And looking after Spike, Thomas' cat was a lovely addition to our stay.

We highly recommend Thomas as a host and staying in his home was a perfect base for our holiday in Berlin.

  • First time with airbnb and first time in Berlin, couldn't have picked better! The apartment is huge, really nicely decorated and the bed is great! The best sleep that we ever had traveling! Berlin is a really big city with long distances between the attractions and Neukölln was great neighbourhood to hang out in the evening/night time after a long day.the metro is really close. Great bars near to the apartment in Wesserstrasse! And last but not least Spike, a great guy that wants to be carressed and loved. Nothing negative to say about Thomas's apartment!

  • My friend Emma had the pleasure of staying at Thomas' apartment for about a week, as part of a month-long trip to Berlin and Sicily. Although we didn't get to meet him in person, communicating with him over e-mail was very easy; he always answered promptly and did everything he could to accommodate us. For instance, when a (website hidden) arrangement fell through, he gladly let us extend our stay at his place. He gave us good suggestions and made us feel at home in Berlin! The apartment itself was lovely, clean and super comfortable; it does look much bigger than in the photos. Altogether, it was a great place to come back home to after a busy day and positively contributed to our traveling experience.

Oh, also, Thomas: thanks for all the apples, muesli and yogurt! :>

  • Our very first experience with airbnb was just great thanks to our excellent host Thomas who offers this beautifully furnished, spacious place to stay. Unfortunately we couldn't meet in person, but the contact was really nice, everything was clean and well prepared, including informations about getting to the apartment and the most important places around the location.

  • This is our first time renting accommodation on Airbnb and it was really a great experience living in Thomas' beautiful apartment.

Thomas was very nice and helpful and the communication went well even though he was away from Berlin and couldn't meet us - which was a pity.

The apartment was very nicely decorated and equipped and it felt very cosy. You will love his lovely cat Spike, especially when she jumps into the bath tube and waits for you to open the tap for some water to drink. We had a good time playing with her. We also had a great time having meals on the balcony of the apartment. And the view was very beautiful.

The Neukölln area is vibrant and beautiful - like other districts in Berlin. There are many grocery stores and supermarkets around the apartment. You won't be bored during the night since there are many nice bars for choice on Weser Street (Weserstrasse) just next to the apartment.
