Few min walk from the subway Line A that bring you in less than 20 min to most part of Rome: Vatican, San Peter, Piazza del Popolo, Villa Borghese, Piazza Spagna, Fontana di Trevi, ect. Ideal for a couple (but you are welcome also if you are alone) that is looking for a sunny location out from the touristic jam. The studio is just remodeled with all ecological material (paints, cork) and you will feel very comfortable. It possible to enjoy lunch or dinner on the spacious sunny terrace. The apt has a double bed, a living room with a very well equipped kitchen and a sofa, a bathroom. It is sunny all year long, we are actually still surprise when with eat outside during winter. You will have clean towels and blankets, internet connection and television. We leave nearby and we are always available if you need help or suggestion. Please take into consideration that the apt is on the 4th floor with no elevator, we don't have aircond, and that the terrace is connected with our other apartment downstairs; but there is also a second terrace, so don't worry there is enough space to relax for anyone.
The apt is just across from a bakery, the neighborhood has every kind of grocery shops, and it's near an important commercial street (via Tuscolana).
Walking distance from Parco di Tor Fiscale, and Parco degli Acquedotti where on saturday and sunday you can rent the bicycle and get to the appian way. Quadraro, is an old and unique roman popular neighborhood that has a special charm. I need to say this is not the richest part of Rome, but it s safe day and night time, and it is Rome! Free use of the kitchen and free coffee for sure!.

L'appartamento è molto carino. Ben diviso e molto accogliente.
we only met Didier during our time at the apartment, however he was very helpful and courteous as a host. We were shown where everything was located in the apartment and given advice on local shops/tratorria's/restaurants to use in the local area.
The aparment itself was an ideal size for my girlfriend and I, it had everything we required for staying for the wee. If I was to suggest an improvement it would be to have more bed linen, as after a week without changing the bedsheets it wasn't smelling so fresh, however there may have been linen in the apartment that we just weren't aware of.
The neighbourhood itself was great, most nights we ate out locally and the highlight being two trips to the Osteria Bar 692 were we could eat outside in an unusual setting of an old aquaduct. The food in this Osteria was incredible and I would definitely make a point of going back the next time I am in Rome.
I would suggest to anyone who plans on using Taxi's in the area to use the metered taxi's from the taxi rank across the road from Porta Furba Metro, it costs 15euro from porta furba to Termini if you have to travel back taxi and also costs 18euro using these metered taxi's to travel from Porta Furba to Ciampino airport.
My boyfriend and I stayed at Barbara's lovely apartment for seven nights in June. We were looking for an apartment away from the city centre where we could relax and unwind in the evening. The place is the perfect size for a couple, the terrace is a relaxing haven after the tourist crowds of central Rome. Less than 20 minutes walk and metro to Termini, it is also very convenient, and situated in a friendly neighbourhood with everything from local bakeries, convenience stores and pizzerias close to hand. We loved breakfasting on the terrace every morning. Check-in went smoothly, Barbara's lovely mother was there to welcome us. With night temperatures of around 28 degrees celcius, Didier kindly dropped off an electric fan, which was greatly appreciated!
A really good air bnb experience, we would definitely stay in this apartment again.
warming and welcoming beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood....highly reccomended for relaxing roman holidays!
The apartment is really nice and well located (ideal for two people). The large sun terrace is awesome. The subway can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot, to the center is about 20 - 30 minutes by subway. A bakery (email hidden) are located in front of the flat. There are other grocery stores, restaurants and a weekly market in close proximity. We would come back anytime! The hosts Barbara and Didier are very friendly and they give good insider tips.
Wonderful stay! My daughter and I planned an 11 day tour of Italy and stayed 3 nights in the residence provided by Barbara and Didier in Rome. I was very concerned regarding safety of area, cleanliness, and convenience and this location was excellent an all counts!
Communication between booking and arrival from Barbara was excellent! Didier received us and showed apartment to us and made us feel very welcome. The apartment was ~8 min walk to train station and was ~12 min to Termini Station downtown. The price and convenience were very fair. The rooftop patio was amazing and each evening we looked forward to wine and relaxing.
If I must provide some less than positive feedback to be fair, I would only say that there is no lift to top floor so if you have medical condition that prevents you from safely climbing stairs, you may reconsider. Also, this is a city location and noise was common each night until ~midnight. We did sleep with all windows and sliding door opened so we did nothing to reduce noise. This is only for your information.
Overall... Very safe, clean, reasonable price, convenient, and best part is communication and very friendly hosts!!!
Would not hesitate to stay here again!!!
Awesome awesome stay! They were so so helpful. Cute little bakery right across the street made for an easy on the go breakfast spot. Loved the apartment. Very close to the metro which is very easy to use. Highly recommended!!
Fantastic apartment with a stunning terrace, in a quiet neighbourhood easily accessible by metro. The hosts were very welcoming.
Thank you Barbara for a very nicetime while I was in Rome!
Our stay at Barbara's was wonderful! We didn't get a chance to meet Barbara herself but her partner Didier was there to meet us when we arrived. He was very friendly and gave us great recommendations for places to eat and how to use the metro system. We really enjoyed staying at their place. It was very clean, spacious, safe, and in a great location to access the metro. There is a cafe next door and a bakery across the street which was delicious!!! We would highly recommended staying there for anyone who would like to see Rome.
This is a great little apartment, well off the tourist path. It's close to the subway, so it's easy enough to get to everything downtown.
The apartment itself is comfortable, with a great patio looking out over the neighborhood. The kitchen had everything we needed. There's a little coffee bar downstairs, where we stopped every morning on our way out. Everything else we needed was nearby: a grocery store, outdoor fresh market, pharmacy, gelato, ATM.
Barbara and Didier were helpful and friendly. Laundry service is a bonus.
Two things to note about the neighborhood: Very few people speak English in this Quadraro, so brush up on your Italian. It's also a bit of a ghost town on Sundays.
