Lovely one bedroom with own bathroom with Bay view, double bed. Secure free car parking! Pool and gym. Easy access to public transportation. Take the ferry or or one bus to downtown San Francisco. Next to nature trails, Rodeo Beach, Muir Woods.
SPECTACULAR VIEW! CLOSE BY CAR TO VARIOUS BEACHES, Muir Woods & Stinson! Walking distance to NATURE TRAILS.The room is ONLY available for one person. I am sorry but unfortunately I cannot accommodate a couple. No exception.
Take the Ferry to San Francisco!
This space can be your retreat after a long day of visiting the Bay area, an internship, conference, volunteering. The room is mid-size eight by 12. Comfy and pretty bedroom with a double size bed with a foam topper, a desk, dresser. Big closets and your bathroom (no sharing) in the hallway, a mere 2 feet away from your bedroom. There is a photo uploaded of the map of the apartment, and you can see the layout. It is the smaller room. Check it out.
It is a quiet, super clean, and a peaceful environment.
In the evening and on the weekend, unwind sipping a glass of wine on the balcony, admiring the beautiful Bay view or go to the gym and sit in the jacuzzi. Spectacular view! Sweet life here in Sausalito.
There's also parking for your car in the premise or off-street parking. Super safe! It is not recommended to rent the room without a car. You can leave it behind and use public transportation during rush hours, but you will need it.
Light access to the kitchen to keep your snacks in the fridge, your breakfast food and beverages, and to have your morning coffee. You will have access to the living room with big screen TV, hulu+ and Netflix accounts. There are two balconies both with stunning views.
Close by are the nature trails, Muir Woods, and Rodeo Beach. There is a small basic gym, pool and secure parking on the site for your car, all right at your door.
Interaction with Guests
I am out and about during the day and keep a busy schedule but regularly watch a movie in the evening, and guests are welcomed to join.
As a rule, both my guests and myself keep busy, with very separate activities, and we don't interact that much but when our paths cross, it's always pleasant to chat. I love hearing about my guests' trips and adventures. I have heard some great stories.
You will have your privacy, but I'll be glad that you're here!
Beautiful trails and nature all around us. Great restaurants, local cinema, good grocery stores, little shops, bars. I recommend Bocce restaurant, Avatars and of course for all seafood lovers, a restaurant called FISH and Garage for morning's croissants. It is healthy living here in Sausalito. Very easy access to San Francisco by public bus, the ferry or car. Get around Sausalito biking, walking or riding the bus. There is no need to worry about your safety.
We are so close to the nature trails that you will see coyotes and deers from the balconies.
You can easily ride your bike downtown Sausalito, or take your car, or ride the bus that stops at the door during rush hour (Monday to Friday). It is not walking distance to the ferry or to any shops and it is recommended to rent a car.
To get to San Francisco (South) or San Raphael (North), take public transportation by bus that is a few steps away from the door or take the ferry. If you prefer driving, it is very close to the freeway too! From the airport, you may take the Marin Airporter and get off at Spencer Avenue. Tell the driver to call you a cab. Or pick up your rental car at the airport.

Anne has a great apartment, and I had a very nice time staying. The apartment is easy to access from the highway, and there is plenty of parking. Her dog is very friendly and quite cute. Anne was very welcoming, and even suggested a great restaurant with an incredible view for dinner. The room was nice, as well as the private bathroom. The apartment also has an incredible view! I would easily stay again, and highly recommend it!
Anne was a wonderful host! The accommodation was just as described and very easy access off of the highway. Anne was a wonderful host and very easy to talk with and enjoyed her company. Her dog Bobbie was very friendly and well behaved. I would absolutely recommend a stay with Anne.
Great room, excellent location, comfy bed and a very convenient personal bathroom. Anne was very welcoming and warm, without being intrusive.
We greatly enjoyed our stay with Anne. She is very hospitable and friendly and the room was perfect with a comfy bed and incredible view to wake up to. Our room and bathroom was clean and exactly what we were looking for. The area is beautiful and an easy drive into the city with some great breakfast places nearby (we went to Anchorage 5 along the water and it was A+).
If you're looking for a laid-back and quiet place to stay for a few days in the SF-area if you're renting a car, we can highly recommend staying with Anne!
We loved her dog too!
I had a great stay at Anne's place. The apartment was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the view is gorgeous. Anne is a gracious host who made me feel very welcome by putting out fresh towels, a carafe of chilled water, and even made me coffee in the morning. It was nice to have my own private bathroom. Anne was also very helpful with suggestions for where to eat and what to do. Highly recommended! Anne suggested I rent a car and while I was glad I had one for exploring the area, someone who doesn't mind climbing hills would be fine without a car because the bus stops nearby.
Ane is a wonderful host! She greets you with a warm authentic smile and there is a bottle of cool water in your room with a view and coffee in the morning! She is respectful of privacy and also easy to engage with if you want that. The apartment is simple and clean and easily accessible by car with no hassle parking space. Ane provides soaps and a great shower in the private bath. I really appreciate her warm, open friendliness and hospitality!
We were made very welcome by Anne and her sweet dog Bobbie in her lovely, clean, modern apartment. There were fantastic views of the bay and bridges from the balcony and our bedroom window. The private car-park was a bonus. Anne recommended taking the ferry from Sausolito to San Francisco which afforded spectacular views of the bridges and Alcatraz.
Sausalito is a pretty, upmarket area and there is all-day parking near the ferry pier for $5 ( up until 11.30pm)
Thank you Anne for a very pleasant stay - we loved San Francisco.

I am a bilingual (French and English) writer, and an animal lover. I travel with a ADA-certified medical assistance dog. As a medical dog, he is extremely well-behaved, does not shed (hypoallergenic), does not bark, does not climb on furniture or disrupt.
I am the kind of guest who does her own thing but is friendly when our path crosses.
