The Space

This space can be your retreat after a long day at work, internship, conference, volunteering, or simply visiting the Bay area. Comfy and pretty bedroom with a double size bed with a foam topper, a desk, dresser. The room is BOHO chic, mid-size, 10 by 10. It's cozy, and comfortable. Big closets too!

Your private bathroom with a shower is in the hallway, a mere 2 feet away from your bedroom. There is a photo uploaded of the map of the apartment and you can see the layout on it.

It is a quiet, pretty, super clean, peaceful environment.

In the evening and on the weekend, unwind sipping a glass of wine on the balcony, admiring the beautiful Bay view or go to the gym and sit in the jacuzzi. Spectacular view! Nice life here in Sausalito.

Guest Access

Light access to the kitchen; access to the living room with big screen TV, hulu+ and Netflix accounts; two balconies. Plus the nature trails, Muir Woods, Rodeo Beach are close by. There is a gym, pool and secure parking on the site for your car, all right at your door.

Interaction with Guests

I work often from home, therefore I am busy during the day and keep a busy schedule but regularly watch a movie in the evening, and with guest are welcomed to join or even share a glass of wine! As a rule, both my guests and myself keep busy, with very separate activities.

You will have your privacy.

The Neighborhood

Beautiful trails and nature all around us. Great restaurants, local cinema, good grocery stores, little shops, bars. Healthy living. Very easy access to San Francisco by public bus, the ferry or by car. Get around Sausalito biking, walking or riding the bus. Super safe and secure. There is no need to worry about your safety.

We are so close to the nature trails that you will see coyotes, mountain lions, and deers too. Oh my!

Getting around

You can easily ride your bike downtown Sausalito, or take your car, or the bus.

To get to San Francisco or to San Raphael (north), you can take public transportation by bus or take the ferry. Very close to freeway too!

  • The apartment was very clean and well maintained. Ane was tentative to any needs or concerns, and was very willing to make any changes to make things more comfortable for my stay. She was nice enough to show me around San Francisco on my days off, which was nice being new to the area. The view is very beautiful! There is a trail right outside the apartment that is great for running or walking with great views. The apartment is very quiet and is great for any professionals or serious students. My room was very comfortable and private and shared the same amazing view from the apartment.

  • Anne was the kind of host that any traveler would be so grateful for! Friendly, open, and respectful of independence and privacy. A great roommate!
Her apartment was immaculate and cozy and the bed was ultra comfortable. the room has a lovely desk that she made herself and provided a great quiet space for work. I most highly recommend Anne and her room for a weekend getaway or a longer stay.

  • Ane has a lovely apartment in a great location. The views are breathtaking and the easy access to hiking trails nearby is a treat. If you love nature and the outdoors, this is the place for you. While the apartment complex is off the main road, there is quick access to the highway, allowing you to easily travel north toward wine country or south into the city.

  • It was a very good time to stay with Anne in this summer. Her apartment is clean, quiet and comfortable place. You can see a beautiful view of San Francisco from the balcony. Anne is also the best host I have ever met. She is friendly and helpful.
If you work in downtown San Francisco I recommend to take the Golden Gate Transit bus (2 or 80) in work days. But a car is still necessary because it's a little far from the grocery stores. The apartment is on the top of the hill so if you don't have the car you need to walk up there.
Anne has a very lovely puppy, if you love dog that's the best!

  • I was very happy to get to stay at Anne's place, she was a kind, thoughtful, and patient host. Her dog Bobby is the sweetest, best behaved dog I've met. He gives you your space but is also happy to interact if you are a dog lover. Sausalito is one of the most beautiful places in California and I enjoyed my easy commute to San Francisco by bus or Ferry with breathtaking views along the way.
