This is an absolutely immaculate, 5,000 sq. ft., three-story home. Boasting 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 3 half baths, it is rare to find such an amazing place for vacation rental. The main floor encompasses the living, dining, kitchen, entry, master suite, one guest room, and full bath. In the master suite, you will find genuine log furniture with a king size bed, fireplace, flat screen TV, glass enclosed steam shower, two private toilet closets, dual sinks and mirrors, and two walk in closets. From the master suite, you are only steps to your own private hot tub, and wrap-around deck, overlooking the peaceful serenity of Tin Cup Creek. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are designed for social entertainment with an open floor concept, embellished with huge windows framing the rooms to provide a peaceful view of the creek and mountain outside. This main floor also boasts a fireplace, hardwood flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, dining table with seating for 8, and access to the wrap around deck. The guest room on the main floor has a full size bed and closet, with the full guest bath being only steps from the guest room. The bath has a toilet, vanity, and stand up shower. On the third floor you will find 2 bedrooms, the Cowboy room and the Indian room, each with their own private balcony. Both upstairs rooms have their own private bathroom, with a shared tub behind pocket doors. The cowboy inspired room has been decorated in ode to the pioneers who settled this area in the late 1800's and has been adorned with an array of authentic cowboy decor, including saddles and a buffalo hide rug. The Cowboy room has two closets, private balcony, queen size bed and small television. The Indian room has been decorated with special attention to the Nez Perce Indian tribe, harboring an array of genuine Indian artifacts, tools, arrowheads, and furs. The Indian room has one closet, queen size bed, and private balcony. The basement is a social favorite, as you will find the bar; with refrigerator, ice maker, card table, dart board, pool table, wood stove and big screen TV. The basement also has a half bath with a toilet and vanity, laundry room, and private office filled with windows overlooking the creek and wilderness outside. The basement doors open to the creek with old log seating and a camp fire ring along the river bank. You will find two garages, one on the main floor and one off the basement with two four wheelers. (Which we cannot rent out at this time due to liability issues with the four wheelers.) The house sits on 13 acres, which includes entry to the property, a corral, and a shed. We provide a check-in & check-out checklist for your stay on Moose Meadow. We ask that you follow the simple check list before leaving the property. There is a $195 cleaning fee. This cleaning fee does not include the maid washing your dishes, towels or linens. We understand that you may have an early flight with no time to wash the sheets on which you slept the night before... our check-out check list will advise you on proper action in these scenarios. However, a portion of your deposit will be withheld, based on the mess which is left behind. We simply ask that you leave the house as you found it upon check in.
While we love pets, we do not allow pets in this home.
Please, no smoking inside the home or garages. Cigarette butts found around the home will incur an extra charge of $100 per cigarette butt found.
While this home is located in a very private area, noise does carry through the valley, so we ask that you respect the surrounding neighbors, by keeping the noise to a minimum. Guests reported for noise pollution will incur extra charges and will be blocked from future bookings in this home.
Our check-in & check-out times are listed as "flexible", as we understand that you cannot always control when your plane arrives. Inclusive Fees: Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.

For guests bringing children under the age of 18: Our home is a fantastic place for children, especially with 13 acres to run and explore as the valley is a giant playground. The home is finely furnished and we ask that you keep that in mind when supervising your children during your stay. Here are some things we kindly ask: Please refrain from eating or drinking on the couch. Please use the dining room or kitchen. Children under 18 using the hot tub must be supervised at all times. If the children use the hot tub, please make sure they are not tracking water throughout the house or sitting on furniture in wet suits.
We generally do not wear shoes in the house as it is better for the wood floors.
Children are not allowed to use The Traeger Grill or build fires in the fireplaces.
IMPORTANT: Please pay particular attention to the Forest Service Fire Warnings on your way in. Summer time can bring the threat of fire to our valley and many times throughout the year, fires are discouraged or out right banned. Please educate yourself on these facts, and do not burn when the Forest Service advises not to. As an extra precaution, do not start fires when the wind is blowing; even though there is a fire pit next to Tin Cup Creek, that does not always mean it is OK to burn.

The host did a wonderful job of promptly providing information upon request. The pictures do not do a good job of displaying the awesomeness of this cabin. You have to stay at this luxury cabin. Darby is a wonderful town. During our stay we were able to see deer, and turkey from the deck.
The house is all you can expect for a very confortable retreat in a beautiful part of Montana. The log house is very well equiped with brand new amenities.
