Stay in hip, yet quiet North Bondi in style!
LARGE AND LIGHT TOWNHOUSE WITH GARDEN AND PARKING
This is a large and very light two storey townhouse. The block has only four units, two in the front and two in the back, with large gardens and also undercover parking for all units, very rare for Bondi!
The house is over two floors, downstairs there are:
- A large lounge area including TV, Bluray DVD Player and HI-FI stereo system
- A dining area seating 6 people
- A laundry including a washing machine and additional toilet
- A fully equipped kitchen (incl. dishwasher, food processor, coffee machine, toaster etc., good quality cooking equipment and dishes and every accessory under the sun ;-))
- Large north facing (lots of sun) garden with umbrella, outdoor seating and a Webber BBQ.
- Large Master Bedroom with luxurious King bed, brand new en-suite and access to large balcony
- Sunny second Bedroom with Daybed which can be extended to a Queen size bed and a large Desk. This room can double as a bedroom and a great office. Access to a large north-facing balcony with Outdoor seating
- Main Bathroom with bath and shower
- Free Wifi
- Free Foxtel including all HD Sports, Entertainment and Knowledge channels
- Undercover Parking for one car
The house sleeps a maximum of 4 people in a King bed in the Master bedroom and a daybed which can be extended to a comfortable Queen size bed in the second bedroom.
World famous Bondi Beach is a seven minute flat walk away with coffee shops, bars, pubs and restaurants just around the corner. A bowling club and tennis courts are located across the road and the golf course is at the end of the street.
A perfect location, in the heart of North Bondi.
Walk down to the beach for a swim before a great night out in Bondi, grab a coffee and something special from the Organic Bakery and relax in the sunny garden, or just enjoy this modern and light apartment as your base for exploring Sydney with the 389 bus to Bondi Junction or the 333 bus to the city close by.
Undercover Parking for one car is included.
Buses 389 and 333 will take you to Bondi Junction (10 minutes) or into the city (30 minutes) and depart from very close by!
It was an unusual stay. Lots of things went wrong not to the fault of my nice hosts. Rafaela was as attentive as possible from the other side of the planet and always responded to my emails. The TV was out (I borrowed some rabbit ears) and there was a ridiculous storm which flooded the garage. Getting the tradesmen to do anything in Australia is always a challenge and it was a few days before that was rectified.
Having said that, the townhouse has modern functional style, the neighbors are nice, the king bed and linens are good, the kitchen is great with sharp knives and lots of supplies and utensils and the barbie was a star. I borrowed a bike to make the beach just that much closer but if you plan to spend a couple of hours down there, it's not a long walk. Having parking (albeit rather tight) was key! The shops and pub are close. Do not even consider renting a place in Bondi Beach without parking would be my advice.
All in all, I would say for a couple with or without a kid, maybe 2 couples on more of a budget, you can't beat it for value. Tommi and Rafaela are a sweet sincere young family and I would definitely recommend staying here.
Tommi & Rafaela are fantastic hosts. They were very friendly and helpful in all off our emails before we arrived which was fantastic.
The location of the house is amazing, close to lots of nice local restaurants and of course Bondi Beach. There is also a convenience store a 2 minute walk away to stock up on essentials. The house is a very homely and comfortable place to stay - with a fantastically modern kitchen.
We really enjoyed our week at the house and would definitely recommend it.

Tommi and Rafaela could not have been more accommodating or helfpul before and during our stay there - lots of communication and useful information.
And the house itself is stunning: beautifully decorated and maintained, with lots of lovely homely touches - as well as state of the art everything! Tommi and Rafeala also kindly provided us with toiletries which made the whole stay feel even more luxurious.
The house is perfectly located: about 5/10 mins walk to the beach, far away from the main road to be quiet, but right near shops and cafes. And with a huge garden.
Honestly, I would move in tomorrow if I could!
