Tamara's home is exactly as pictured. Tucked in on a quiet (and safe) street in Venice it felt like the perfect retreat to come back to. The private courtyard garden and patio full of succulents was just darling! The location couldn't have been better -- Just a 10 minute walk to Abbot Kinney and a couple of miles from the beach & other area locales. The space is bright and full of good energy; very comfortable, very clean and had everything we needed. Would love to come back and stay again!

Tamara was very welcoming and her place was exactly how she described it. If was the perfect place to have as a home base while we visited with friends & family during our California stay. I would highly recommend Tamara's place to anyone looking for a local Venice experience. She was quick to communicate with us and answered all questions.
My boyfriend and I had a great stay at the Funk Guest House in the Trees! It was incredibly clean when we got there and is just as it appears in the pictures. The bed was incredibly comfortable! I loved the decor and style of the place. Tamara made it really easy. We found street parking right in front of the location. There was plenty of towels. We would definitely stay there again.
Tamara made the whole experience incredibly easy and was a brilliant host. Her guest house wad beautiful and an oasis in the middle of Venice. I will hopefully br back soon.
Tamara's place is perfect for a stay in LA. We just loved it. It's quirky and cool and has a really nice comfy feel to it. It was super clean and whilst fairly small, it's spacious enough for two people. Things I particularly liked were the filtered water (shower and drinking water), the bed was comfortable, all the plants and greenery made you feel like you were in the country instead of in the middle of a bustling metropolis, the fantastic vinyl record collection (Tamara's got some seriously good taste) and how peaceful and quiet it was. Honestly, I could easily live there and we'll definitely try to stay there again next time we visit.
We didn't meet Tamara, our host, but all communication with her was super friendly and quick and she was always more than happy to help out with questions and recommendations. She seems like a really lovely person. I'd easily recommend this house to anyone visiting Los Angeles.
