Welcome to Tall Cedars,

Experience the Olympic Peninsula at this private, serene hideaway - surrounded by old cedars, ferns, huckleberries & more. It is well equipped for a cozy getaway in the forest, including a hot tub!

This home is a short 5-minute drive from the Salt Creek Recreation Area which includes Crescent Beach (surf & sand), Striped Peak (hiking trails & views) & Tongue Point (excellent tide-pooling). Yet just a 20-minute drive from town in Port Angeles for easy shopping & dining.

The space
This retreat is tucked away on five forested acres with an acre-or-so of beautiful, cleared space to enjoy. Take in the tall trees and peaceful atmosphere - the perfect location for a break from the noise of regular life.

The home features one small bedroom with a queen size bed as well as a lofted area (low overhead clearance) with two twin beds.

The kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals during your stay. Coffee, tea & a variety of spices are provided complimentary. There is a propane BBQ on the deck.

After a day exploring the Olympic Peninsula, help yourself to a relaxing soak in the two-person hot tub or light a bonfire in the backyard fire ring and roast some s’mores! Either way, take in the stars and breathe the fresh forest air.

Other things to note
The stairs to the loft sleeping area are steep and narrow so may not be suitable for young children or those with mobility issues.

The hallways are narrow in the tiny house.

The loft area has low-clearance, an adult will not be able to fully stand up.

The hot water tank at the tiny house is smaller than you'd find in a standard home. We find that two people can take showers back-to-back, but it is recommended to intentionally space out prolonged uses of the hot water so the heater has time to catch up with the use.

In the months where we receive snow, you will need 4WD or AWD as well as good tires and/or chains - Deer Tracks Rd and the driveway can be very slick.

The nearest grocery stores are 20 minutes away, in Port Angeles. It is recommended to grab your groceries on your way to the tiny house, unless you plan on heading back that direction.

We utilize a Ring camera at the front door of the tiny house for our safety & security.
