Catherine's place is simply lovely. The location is ideal for walking everywhere, and the neighborhood is quiet with easy access to shops, restaurants, and the beach. I loved the view of the hillside and the pretty homes and flowers, and the place itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and super cute.
The absolute best part of the stay was Marie. Marie looks after Catherine's place and she is incredibly kind and helpful. She provided the warmest welcome (and wine!), was completely patient with my changing travel plans (and feeble attempts at French), helped with with both my missing luggage and arranging an early morning taxi for departure. My stay was very short, and to have someone like Marie help when plans go sideways made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The position is very convenient. Close to the beach and bus stop of the bus going to Sanguinary and very nice distant beach.
All shops are near. Marie, who is managing this apartment is living at the lower floor that makes it very convenient in case of any problem or question. She was very, very helpful.
The distinguishing feature of this apartment is ... 100% similarity of the photos at the site to the reality. You can believe photos. This apartment looks really great.
Thank you for great vacation!
We had a wonderful time in Catherine's apartment. It started with the warm welcome by Mary, who offered us a bottle of rose-wine and gave us important information about the apartment, the neighborhood and the city. We enjoyed the closeness to the downtown area, as well as the feeling of living in a small neighborhood with little shops and restaurants. If/when we return to Ajaccio we will certainly try to also stay in Catherine's apartment again.

Catherine's apartment is a dream! Conveniently located close to centre ville, shops, and adorable little beaches. The space itself is very comfortable and gorgeous. Her neighbor Marie is very kind and answered all of our questions and even left us wine and fruit when we first checked in. I hope one day to come back. It was divine!
About the Host, Catherine
