First House rule is : You are required to have very Good Sense of Humur. Keep Smiling and Be Happy.
Please note there are no rule but some minor things which we all do in our own household apply. We prefer if you treat and Respect the house and home, like your own.
I would politely Request: "Please do not search for Alcohol in the middle of night in the house, because one guest tried that".
Save Energy, if you are not using lights etc, switch them off when you go out.
Maintain the Cleanliness of Shower Room, Bath Tub, Sink and WC, after you have used it. Although its clean every day but please make sure your hair are not floating about every where in the bath tub.
Some peope just bring loads of Dirty Clothes on the first day of arrival, I do not think it is fair on the Host because I charge fair price for room and facilities. #Washing Machine is available and is expensive to run in UK please pack your clean clothes. It is OK to wash them during the duration you stay at my place but its not fair that you bring along dirty clothes as if I provide laundry service in advance. (Its only fair request-Because some guests have done it in the past)
Open and Shut Door Gently
After using the kitchen facilities for cooking or eating, pots, pan, dishes that you have used please clean them.
Respect the Gadgets, machinery and equipment that is used in the house by you or other dwellers.
Internet is free to use but keep it safe and respect the privacy of others use it but do not abuse it,
Observe the quietness in the house and maintain it, i.e. no door slamming etc.
Excellent host. I got a warm welcome into the house. I found everything as is in the posting. I was there for not so long, but I enjoyed my stay throughout. Looking forward to visit this place again :-).
I highly recommend this place to everyone. If you are looking for a place in London with the best transportation available msg Nina right now and reserve ASAP. The description is accurate! These 7 weeks have been absolutely fantastic! I felt like I was at home the entire time! :) Nina Sonam thank you so much! I absolutely love you guys and the time I spent here! Gonna miss you so much! Definitely coming back!
Close to public transport. Nina greeted me quite pleasantly. I didn't see much of her and her daughter and brother (not mentioned in ad that a gent was living there as well) after that due to my studies schedule.
It was such a great pleasure to stay at Nina's place. She is not only welcoming person but also very warm-heart person. Room and the house were neat and cozy. There is no need to say that meals and teas that she made were wonderful.
Her place is just infront of the bus stop so it was easy to get around for me.
It was truly a joy to know her. You will see why many other people who previously stayed at here house left so many of thank you card there. Be there and be her family.
Nina's place is the best AirBnB experience I've had to date! First - for travelers - the house - which is cute, cozy, and great - is 10+min to walk to BOSTON MANOR Station (Picadilly Line to and from Heathrow!) - is also about 30 mins from EVERYTHING in Central London! If you go to Green Park (20+min) there's Buckingham Palace, a few short stops either way, there's Covent Gardens, Albert's Hall, Museums, and other palaces! It's a very good neighborhood where the house is too! If you visit Ealing Broadway there are shops, a mall, and every service you could ever need!!
As for my personal experience with Nina and family - I don't know how to express it other than saying: I love them, and They love me, and we are now staying in touch, because they were even better than family to me!!, so, we will keep in touch from now on!
This has to be the most awkward place I have ever stayed at. There are little notes throughout the house telling you how to close doors, flush the toilet, etc. The notes are small and handwritten which make them hard to read and understand. Nina is a nice lady with good intentions but she at times can be rude and obnoxious. At the time I stayed at her place Nina had a back problem which prevented her from sleeping on her own bed and instead she slept in the living room. During the week she would go to bed around 9pm-10pm which meant no access to the living room or the TV after those times. Nina can be very loud when she talks so several mornings I was woken up by her very early when she went to work. Next time I come to London I will look at booking somewhere else.
Jaime, thanks for the review, but I do not think its wise of you to write about my private life where I sleep and why. I never promised access to lounge in the description. And when you see your review in comparison to all other reviews you will know where you stand.
Good luck for the future.
I've been living at Nina's for 1 month and it has been an amazing, fulfilling experience. Since the first second I crossed the door I knew that I would find a family, not only a house. Nina and her daughter Sonam are that type of wonderful people that really restore your faith in mankind. The atmosphere in the house is always positive, Nina is the most easygoing person I've ever met, always ready to help, talk, listen, joke around, laugh and above all cook! She's definitely a certified Italian/Mexican/Everything cooker (!!!!!), I loved her lasagne, chilli, rice and beans, baked potatoes and much more. As you can see she's ready to share her cooking talent with the guests, even if she's not supposed to. And also Sonam shares her music talent, livening up the evenings playing guitar and singing splendidly. Indeed I wouldn't be more sure to say that the code word of the house is SHARE. And that's what families are supposed to do.
The house coincide with the description and the pictures. Well linked to the citycentre with buses and tube stations. Neighborhood is safe, even at night/early morning.
Thank you Nina and Sonam! See you soon :D
