The neighborhood

The Holiday Park has a small shop for your convenience (available peak times only) and the local Jan Juc shops (two pubs, a bistro, Swell Cafe, fish and chips & general store) are 5 min drive/15 min walk.

The beaches are a 15min walk to the cliff top and then down steps to a lovely pristine beach (not patrolled) or there are car parks available all along the coast, if you prefer to drive to a patrolled or surf beach.

If you're feeling energetic, you can take a cliff walk/ride all the way to Torquay or Bell's Beach or go rock-pooling and beach walking on the miles of shoreline.

There is a huge park (the Bob Pettit reserve) accessible through a side gate of the holiday park which has a small skate park, bike 'pump' track, awesome kids' playground, football oval and tennis courts.

Torquay is 10 minutes away and boasts a Coles, Woolworths, IGA, bakeries, butchers etc as well as many great trendy eateries such as Moby's, Fisho's, Bottle of Milk etc. aswell as numerous lovely playgrounds and sheltered patrolled beaches.

Then there is the entire Great Ocean Road to explore - Anglesea for paddle boating, Aireys Inlet with its lighthouse walks and gorgeous lighthouse tea room and further along Lorne, Apollo Bay & Otways national park with its, numerous waterfalls wild Koalas and the not-to-be-missed Twelve Apostles!
