Greenore is just an hour and 15 mins from Dublin City and the same to Belfast so it's the ideal place to base yourself to explore the East Coast. The property is just a 5 min drive or 40 minute walk to the picturesque medivial tourist village of Carlingford where you find great restaurants and lively pubs.
The area is a haven for hill walkers and lesiure cyclists - all in all just a super hideaway with character Ideal for family groups.
I have stayed several times in Cormac and Georgina’s beautiful wooden house in Greenore. It’s spacious, tasteful & full of character. The mountain views are magnificent and there is so much I have enjoyed while staying there: walking, seaside activities and sightseeing. Their house overlooking the 18 hole Greenore Golf Course is truly a unique space in an idyllic location. The pretty nearby village of Carlingford with its shopping, restaurants, culture and nightlife completes the experience. The proximity of Cormac and Georgina’s house to both Dublin and Northern Ireland makes it an ideal base for family holidays and/or backpacker tours of Europe/Ireland. Dublin Castle and the Titanic Exhibition are equally accessible! If you book this house you won’t be disappointed. Highly Recommended! Grainne
