Located on rue de l' Agent Bailly in the heart of the 9th district, the studio is close to both Montmartre and the Opera district.
It's only a short walk from Gare du Nord.
The studio is in easy walking distance from the luxurious Parisian department stores, Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, and the Opera shopping quarter, while at nearby Rue de la Paix and Place Vendôme, you can dream in front of the windows of the world's greatest jewelers.
Traditional shops found in the nearby Rue des Martyrs include bakeries, patisseries, chocolatiers, delicatessens, butchers, caterers, cheese stores, wine merchants, fruit and vegetables vendors, and typically Parisian cafes and restaurants.
The area is also host to numerous theaters and museums (I recommend the little-known Museum of Romantic Life where you can enjoy afternoon tea in a delightful walled garden, and the National Gustave Moreau Museum, former home of the artist).
The famous Parisian cabarets (The Moulin Rouge, Michou, and Madame Arthur) are also within easy walking distance and add to the colour of the quarter.
Please let me know if you need to be picked-up at the airport, I negotiated a flat rate with Armand for up to 5 people.
It's barely more expensive than the train and saves you time and hassle.
Ask me about it!
Armand can also pick you up upon departure and drop you to any airport and train station.
I also sometimes use Taxi G7 inside Paris.
You can reach them at the following numbers (automatic voice machine) :

Please note that French taxis will accept up to 4 people; You'll need to book a special one when you place your order if you are more numerous than that.

The fewer the rules, the better the stay!
However try to keep the apartment as clean and tidy as you found it and respect the neighbors' quietness.
I try to be as flexible as possible regarding arrival and departure time!
However a good organization between us beforehand is vital to make everybody happy.
Paris is a big city and of course there are scams that target tourists. While none of my guests have ever experienced any problems and the neighborhood is safe, please take reasonable precautions for your security.
DO NOT let anyone enter the apartment even if they claim the right to do so (for example for electricity or from any alleged authorities) without contacting me first.
I will always be glad to help you out if you have any questions during your stay and will answer in French, English, German or Spanish.
You trust me...and I trust you!...
Charles Emmanuel has a lovely apartment in Montmartre, France so very close to Sacre-Coeur. The cathedral is not only lovely but shows a fantastic view of the city of Paris and wonderful for people watching. The accommodations were exactly as shown in the photos. The charming street and courtyard made an American family feel like they were living the true Paris experience. Getting around by Underground or Taxi is very easy. We were there to celebrate a birthday on Bastille Day and the fireworks at the Eiffel Tower were spectacular. Every American should stay at Charles’ apartment. Oh, and the patisseries in the neighborhood – can’t be beat!
The flat looks like the photo. Small bathroom and kitchenette are adequate. Flat is within a larger building with garden courtyard and window faces street. Neighborhood is convenient and street is mostly quiet. WIFI is good and Charles stays in touch as needed. He provided helpful directions and assisted with transportation to CDG.
Had an amazing time. Loved the location close to metro and easy to get to Paris museums etc. Great choice of patisseries and restaurants. Apartment clean and as shown in photos great communication and easy to find and get into apartment
The apartment was very clean and in a lovely area of Paris. Perfectly suitable for a short break. There were 3 of us staying, and we fitted in comfortably. Vesna greeted us and was very welcoming. Overall, a lovely stay!

About the Host, Charles
After university studies (and a degree in marketing), I always found time to travel extensively and for long periods of time.
I realised then how one appreciates to find a place where you feel at home, live as locals do; a place where you can enjoy breakfast with your choice of music in the background, where you can shop the local foodstores and cook a beautiful diner for everybody; Well, even better if this place costs you roughly half what a hotel would cost you (for a fiftht of the space)!
I love literature and art, which probably reflects in the modern decoration and the many books on the bookshelves.
Travelling in many parts of the world made me quite laid back I guess; I just expect my guests to have a wonderful time in Paris and just want to come back as soon as possible....
