  • The three of us were here for 6 days and this house was perfect located within the authentic old medina. On the corner you have a bakery and a litle bit furder some little shops for baverages and other supplys. Nearby you can also find a cute little market for fresh fruits and vegetables. It's optional to use the kitchen in the house, so we made our own breakfast here every morning. Katy and her husband were lovely, funny hostesses and very laidback and helpfull. They know the place very well so we appreciated their tips a lot! After a busy, warm day, you can really chill out at the rooftop terrace and enjoy the beautiful view of the Atlas Mountain. If you want to visit the famous square Jemaa el Fnaa or the new Medina, just take a cab for 10-20 Dh. In the evening the prices are a bit higher. Overall a good place to start your holiday in the red city :)

  • What an amazing place !!! This Riad is an oasis is the madness of Marrakech. Great location. Great hosts. If you want a look at authentic Marrakech this is a great place to be. Plus comfy beds and more facilities than you are likely to need. The bread and cake stalls around the corner are fab. Top tip - get Cathy to arrange to have you met at airport - the 15 euro taxi to her door is well worth it !

  • Catherine and her partner picked us up from the meeting point and led us to the Riad. Catherine was always available for questions and gave very good recommendations and tips regarding sights, food and safety.

The room was spacious and clean - there is hot water but no heater (but it was okay for us and there are additional blankets). It is great that guests can use the kitchen.

The Riad was the perfect place to calm down from crazy Marrakesh.

    Thank you Catherine!

  • In a residential area is this cozy riad off a small street just off the city wall, which marks the Medina. There is a choice of small local shops and you can walk right out on the street and buy fresh bread every morning and not far away there is a supermarket where you can get all the necessities.
However breakfast restaurants requires a little walk - we found a lovely one close to Majorelle Garden
The rooms are fine, have the necessary and everything is reasonably clean.
Cathy is sweet, helpful and accommodating.
Being in Marrakech in February was a bit chilly. The rooms was the first days diffucult to heat - so we had a few nights sleeping with lots of blankets and wearing socks in bed.

  • We loved this place! Katy is a lovely host, really easy going and friendly. She was most helpful recommending great hammam and correct price for taxis etc. (which in Marrakech is a minefield)
The riad is beautiful inside, a real oasis. Room clean, comfortable and very quiet.
The little lanes around felt quiet and safe, with plenty of local grocery and veggie shops. Locals, not tourists.
Definitely a good one - We will be back! Thank you Katy :-)
