Great private home near to the buzz of Sanur. Perfect especially for family group or group of friends if you have the whole place to yourself like I did.

Our stay was originally scheduled for 3 nights but we left early after just 1 night because of aggressive dogs. The house is located at the end of a dark alleyway, and it seems that one of the homes in the alley has 2 very protective (aggressive) dogs. The dogs were fine upon arrival (completely lazy and sunbathing), but when we tried to return from dinner after dark (9:30pm), the dogs would not let us enter. They barked, growled, and showed there teeth, slowly backing us out of the driveway. The barking dogs attracted more neighborhood dogs who eventually entirely surrounded us. Thank God two local teenagers drove by on motorbikes and stopped to see if we were okay. They helped us down the alleyway by distracting the dogs, but even then it was scary making it to the house. my wife and i normally love dogs, but this was scary. Once we made it back to the house and were able to message Kadek he was very responsive. However, he had Ketut his property manager, come to see us. Ketut showed up shortly later and brought the dog inside the gate with him which made us feel even more uncomfortable. Kadek immediately suggested we find another place (his exact words via message were: Maybe find another place to stay as I just spoke to Ketut and he says that he been asked to just kill the dog and we do not want that). Very strange. Obviously we did not want the dog killed so we left and found an amazing hotel down the street (Maison hotel) for almost the same price. Kadek asked Ketut to escort us out the next day to depart but when we called Ketut he refused, saying he was away and unavailable. We left on our own and saw Ketut sitting at a local shop near the end of the drive. It appeared he was just hanging out with friends. Very disappointing. It is a shame because Kadek`s house is beautiful. Private little paradise if he had a more service oriented property manager and the dog was friendly.

The Hosts at this place were really lovely. They were welcoming and helpful. The location was good for us. It was quiet and peaceful and only a short walk to the main road and beach. We would definitely stay here again. We tried to book again on our way home, but the room was already booked. We would recommend this accomadation . The pool and garden were beautiful and private. The kitchen and fridge were very useful. Also, we could watch DVD's when we were tired after a day walking and sightseeing. Overall a great experience.

We loved our stay here and Kadek was so lovely and welcoming. Beautiful room and living area. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived and the pool was so lush. We would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Sanur.

Karek's place is very nice! I loved it for my one night over Sanur and as my first day in Bali. Karek is nice and helpful. She is very responding to my messages and questions in advance. (This is important for me as a new visitor to Bali so really appreciate it!) Too sad that Karek was not around for the day I visited since she was home celebrating Galungan Day. But we still connected via phone calls so hope to meet her in person next time! Thanks for the nice home in Sanur!

The stay in Kadek and Roy's villa was wonderful and it really helped me feel at home during my first trip to Bali. The villa was clean, quiet and spacious, as accurately seen from the photos. I especially loved the pool, private kitchen and high ceiling in the bedroom. The walk out to the main street was short, and restaurants, shopping and a supermarket were all just a stone's throw away. Staying in this villa allowed me to know and interact with people from other countries when they too were staying in the villa at the same time, but different bedrooms. This was a pleasant and unexpected takeaway from my trip to Sanur and stay at this villa.

Excellent location, close enough to airport for late arrival and close to beach for breakfast ! Also right in the heart of Sanur so supplies for next location on your doorstep! Everything flowed smoothly, email contact, driver waiting, never met the staff, but we were out and busy. The driver had a warm welcome for us on our arrival he was delightful , even sang us a song!!
