The studio is in the basement on a separate and private part of a four floor building. The house is in front of a primary school which I love because it is so alive when the children go out to play. The school started at 08:30 and you might hear the bell ringing and children and parents coming to school.

The apartment is new and has a very comfortable bed, computer, and high-speed wireless internet, fully equipped kitchen, heat in the floors, very nice shower with high water pressure and enough hot water. There is a thermostat that allows you to adjust the heat as needed. The apartment is in the basement but has a very big window which is protected with a film that prevents people to look inside while you have the curtain up, so it is very private.

Other things to note
As it is at street level you might also hear cars passing by, and people talking while walking.

This is a university area and very well located. We have being in this neighborhood since I came to Iceland and we have so many friends here that it is like living in a small town. Our daughter's school is just across the road and the next sport club just 5 min by walk. Swimming pool, supermarkets, library, museums, good schools, university. We love to leave in this place.
