_Riad Amalia is in the center of Medina. It is near to the Souks, 5 minutes walk to Jamaa El Fna and a 15 minutes walk to the modern city.
It has 3 floors. 1st floor: Moroccan living room with satellite TV. and bathroom with shower. 2nd floor: 2 bedrooms. 3th floor: kitchen; bathroom with shower and roof terrace where you can take breakfast in the morning sun. The sun sets are gorgeous.
You have the option for sleeping in the living room for less money. I can even give up the Riad for a few days to a small group. __€ 79 per night in the Riad Exclusively I could pick you up at the airport in a taxi. Also the bus brings you straight from the airport to Jamaa El Fna, which is only about 5 minutes walk from the Riad. If you need, I will give you directions. . Moroccan Breakfast is provided. The Riad has Wi-Fi internet connection. Laundry service is right in the street.
I am Amine and I am also a guide in Morocco. I organise trips to Sahara with camel trekkings, to the Atlas mountains and around Marrakech. I know every place in Morocco.I am a cook and so I can teach you the typical moroccan kitchen. What are you waiting for? 4000 welcomes..
The two days at Amines Riad were really great. His home is truely in the heart of the Medina. He came to the airport to pick me up and we went together with a taxi to his Riad. He showed me the living room on the ground floor, my bedroom in the first and the kitchen in the third floor. Although it was late as I arrived Amine cooked some fresh mint tea and welcomed me with morrocon sweets. I slept very well and enjoyed the breakfast at the terasse in the next morning. I asked Amine to guide me around Marrakesch and he made a really good job. I felt very safe on his side. He showed me a lot nice places and told me many interesting things about the culture of his country. The day I had to leave he helped me to arrange my bus connection to Agadir and brought me to the Taxi. Amine was very caring and hearty at once in every situation with a respectful distance. I will come back to Marrakesch and discover the rest of this amazing town. Without any doubt I will stay at Amines place!
Amine is a very thoughtful and knowledgeable host and he takes his job as host very seriously - in a good way. Staying with Amine is like living in somebody's house rather than having a room in a hotel. Amine is also a guide and can help you with getting around in Marrakech, what to see, what things should cost and who to get it from. Which is very useful when vacationing in Marrakech, as the phrase "Special price, just for you my friend" has lost all meaning in this wonderful little capitol. The two rooms in the house are small, but there is a great little roof terrace to make up for that. All in all, your stay with Amine will be a lot more personal than at a riad/hotel/hostel, and I can definitely recommend it.
Gracias Amine . I am a Single woman traveller . Amine is very quiet and kind person he makes you feel welcome and cared for. His disposition is as gentle as it is sweet, he never fails to be helpful and personable. He is an excellent guide showing me around all the wonderful sights of Marrakech and also a trip to the Atlas mountains . Breakfast was included in the price and we had fresh orange juice, crepes and coffee. Delicious!Amine can help you buy goods at local prices. I found the place very nice. the Riad is beautiful 3 floor in Riad full of style and the The location is very good so close to the center of medina and to Jamaa EL Fna Square . his home is magnificently kept, and very comfortable. The bed, most important of all, is comfortable and clean .I loved to sit on the roof terrace in the morning and in the evening .Amine always has a helpful suggestion on where to go . It is great to find somewhere and someone to feel safe if you are a woman or on your own . I would definitely stay with Amine when i come back to Marrakech!
