- Parking is optional. A parking spot is a 1/2 block away (30 second walk) and is $10 plus HST ($11.30_ per night per vehicle with in/out privileges. No reservation required.
- Monthly rates are based on 4 weeks (28 days).

This is a an opportunity for our guests to explore all that Ottawa has to offer without interruption though we are always only a text, email or phone call away.
An eclectic, downtown location within walking distance of all major attractions. Close (3 blocks) to major 24 hour grocery store.
Four major bus routes steps from front door. Cabs are easy to flag.
Check-in is anytime after 3 pm.
Check-out must be no later than 11 am. (we need the 4 hours in-between to clean and sanitize the apartment for the next guests).
We offer a clean, well-appointed condo that is perfect for people who want to be in the downtown core, the business district, or close to tourist attractions.
We ask that our guests be respectful of our home, the furnishings and supplies, and also respectful of our fellow condo owners. Excessive noise will not be tolerated. Smoking is limited to outside the building. Pets, though we love them, are not able to stay in our heritage building.
The Tenant(s) agree to be responsible for any and all damages howsoever caused, be same innocent, negligent or willful, and whether caused by the Tenant(s), any one of them or any person on the Rented Premises. The Tenant(s) further agrees to notify the Landlord immediately upon the Tenant(s) becoming aware of any damage.
The maximum number of tenants and guests is limited to four (4) persons day or night. No weddings, graduations, receptions, parties, or similar events allowed.
The Tenant(s) agrees to return the condo in the same condition it was found.
In the event that the tenants(s) and guest(s) do not execute the cancellation agreement, the tenant(s) agrees that the owner may charge the sum of $600 per night provided the tenants(s) and guest(s) do not check out on their pre-arranged check-out date.
No Daily Housekeeping services
While linens and bath towels are included, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate, however, it is available at an additional rate.
We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the condo.
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.
The Tenant(s) agrees that the Landlord shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to persons or property, loss of enjoyment, whether direct or consequential, resulting from such being on or about the Rented Premises whether caused by fire, smoke, theft, burglary, conditions due to the weather such as ice on the grounds, or for any cause whatsoever. The Tenant(s) further agrees that their use of the Rental Premises is at their sole risk.
We highly recommend all tenant(s) and guest(s) purchase travel, personal liability and property insurance.
The Tenant(s) for good and valid consideration, including the granting of possession of the Rental Premises pursuant to the terms of this Rental Agreement, hereby agree to indemnify the Landlord and save them harmless with respect to any claim, demand, cause of action or actions made by any person against the Landlord, their agents and servants for damage or injury arising during the period of the Rental Agreement on or about the Rental Premises.
Use of Grounds
The Tenant(s), his/her family and guest(s) shall use the common areas and walks within the area owned by the Landlord in a quiet and proper manner and with due regard to the comfort and convenience of other Tenants and neighbours, and shall desist from any course of conduct considered objectionable by any agent of the Landlord upon being requested to do so.
Parking is optional and is $10 plus 13% HST per night, per vehicle,is located 1/2 block from the building, and does not require a reservation.
Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Pets are NOT allowed.
Smoking/Smoke Detectors/Fire Extinguisher
There is no smoking permitted in the condo/or throwing cigarette butts on the grounds, or in the surrounding walkways/parking lots. The Tenant(s), his/her family and guest(s) are permitted to smoke on the terrace, but must use a proper ashtray and dispose of the butts in such a manner as to ensure the butts are extinguished fully.
The Landlord shall ensure that there is a functional smoke detector and fire extinguisher installed in the Rented Premises at the time the Tenant(s) takes possession of the rented premises.
A Tenant(s), his/her family or guest(s) who disable(s) a smoke detector is subject to a fine under Ontario law.
Both the Landlord and the Tenant(s) hereto agree and understand that a fax transmission of this Rental Agreement shall be considered to be an original, and shall be legally binding upon all parties.

Its was a nice appartment and a great location. Contacting the host was easy and simple.
I am glad that Louis-Mathieu appreciated that the location of our condo is within a comfortable walking distance of most major tourist attacations: Parliament Hill, the Byward market, the Rideau Canal, the Rideau Centre, Major Hill Park, Confederation Park. It is also close to the university of Ottawa, the Ottawa Convention Centre, many embassies including the U.S. embassy, the Russian embassy. There are also restaurants, retail, library, movie theatre, 2 24-hour major grocery stores, banks, pharmacies, post office with three blocks. There are 4 major bus routes just steps from the front door that can take you anywhere in Ottawa. I also try to make it easy for my guests to contact me, day or night. It is okay to contact me at midnight. If there is something that needs my attention, my guests are well informed that they can contact me right away. I include a very detailed manual in the condo that provides contact instructions, how to use the appliances and electronics, as well as what is located in the neighbourhood. I have devoted many hours to find ways to make a guest's stay relaxed and comfortable. I am glad Louis-Mathieu appreciated the efforts. Regards, Catherine
This place is what you pay for nothing special and definitely not super clean. It is nice to get some privacy and cooking facilities for 79$. The decor however is incredibly tacky and the layout is very tight. As photos can do they greatly exaggerate the space, you are literally tripping over things it is so cramped. Getting rid of the tacky nick nacks would help. The neighbourhood has character... a nearby seedy sex shop, but also some really good restaurants. Sitar (amazing indian food, and the Horn of Africa decent Ethiopian). It is close to some good stuff. Checkin was easy enough and automated. The lock on the door is a joke and didn't inspire confidence. It would be a simple fix. Checkout was 11am firm, no exceptions there which is acceptable. Catherine however was disorganized and managed to send me an outrageous text meant for another client of her many rental sites (which she couldn't quite keep straight) threatening me with a 600$ charge for not having left her apartment. I had left respectfully and very much on time and was shocked at how rude her series of texts were. She was quite apologetic after the fact when she realized her mistake but the damage was done. Overall it left a sour taste in my mouth. An impersonal touch that ended in a nasty case of mistaken identity and threats.
This guest, and the following guest, arrived as a group, having rented 2 units. They were not respectful as they are suggesting in their reviews. I was advised, that if I did not provide them with significant discounts, that they would discredit me in a review. I do hope my potential guests, as well as my many repeat guests, will overlook these two reviews, and read the many others that are positive and supportive. The apartment was great - exactly as pictured. Parking was easy and the location is very good for getting to downtown. The place was warm and cozy - something we really appreciated. Lots of food places nearby, including places open late into the night and 24-hour supermarkets. Highly recommended.
Joel and his girlfriend LOVED the canopy bed (as do many of my guests) and the charm of the cozy apartment. Joel also mentioned to me that he was surprised at all the things offered, especially in the kitchen. There are more pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, etc. in this home than in any other rental of its size that my guests have rented in the past. I offer a wide selection of spices, coffee, tea, sugar, sweeteners, and basic staples. My guests continually tell me how surprised they are at what they get for the price. The place was lovely and really well set up. The location is great, parking is close (half a block) by for 10$/ 24 hours. We never met Catherine but everything was very smooth for checkin. Someone knocked and came by to make sure we were leaving (which I found a little in poor taste, as it wasn't even checkout time yet), but all in all, it was a good stay.
I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and found the location and the amenities to your liking. I do apologize that my helper knocked on your door 10 minutes before your check out time. He was meant to go to the unit next to yours to assist the guest with their luggage (disabled) and to take the luggage to the curb so that she would be ready for the cab driver when he arrived at the appointed time promptly. I hope you will accept her apology.
But, aside from that small blip I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay and found that everything went smoothly.
Nice and comfortable stay at an affordable price located closely to central downtown. Our group enjoyed the well equipped kitchen and the hosts were more than welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Great place overall

I offer unique, super clean, and well equipped rental properties in Ottawa and I take my responsibilities seriously.
When I travel and stay in private homes I expect to have all the basics available (like spices, coffee, teas, sugar, bathroom tissue, laundry soap) as well as finding the kitchen to have an abundance of pots/pans, knives, serving bowls, baking sheets, casserole dishes, etc.
Since I have found this is not always the case, I understand how disappointing that can be, so I tend to go overboard and offer everything I can think of.
I am a retired interior designer and a Cordon Bleu grand diplome chef. I have taken my training and experience from these two fields and applied it to offering the best accommodations for my guests, including a well-stocked kitchen! :-))
