The space

Beautiful en-suite bedroom with panoramic sea views overlooking Galway Bay enroute of the Wild atlantic way. This room can sleep up to three people. We are located just outside the picturesque fishing village of Kinvara, Co Galway. A delicious Continental breakfast is served each morning and we have free Wireless Internet access. We are central to the Burren, Cliffs of Moher, Ailwee Caves, Lisdoonvarna, Aran Islands and Galway City. We are located on a remote peninsula so you will "NEED A CAR" to get here.
Our B&B is called Breacan Cottage. Our address is Parkmore, Doorus, Kinvara, Co Galway. H91 V2C3
You drive through the village towards the Burren on the N67 for about 4 km and turn right at a sign called Knockgearra. You will see my B&B signs en- route. We are located on the same road as Doorus Youth Hostel. Just drive to the end of that road and we are the last house on the left overlooking the sea.

Geraldine's place is very tidy and comfortable. She and her husband are lovely people who even helped us to our suitcases when we arrived. The breakfast was very good and extensive. Not to forget: The view over the lake is absolutely stunning.

Beautiful location right on the water - very quiet and peaceful, I was up early and went out on the waterfront right in front of the house and watched a few early fisherman puttering by, breathed clean air. We arrived a bit late, not plannd that way but it happens, and Geraldine was just fine with it and very gracious, her husband (maybe I shouldn't assume that but he seemd so) immediately grabbd the heaviest bags and hauled them in for us. A good stay, to bad we only had one night there, I would have enjoyed a day by the water.

Geraldine's place was everything described ... a delightful, comfortable, well-appointed room on a lovely coastline near the edge of the Burren. Breakfast was delicious, and our hosts were incredibly helpful. Geraldine called and made sure we had a dinner reservation, on St. Patrick's Day, no less. I would recommend it highly, and stay there again in a heartbeat.

This little cottage is located on a little finger shaped peninsula and pier in Galway. The accommodations were charming and comfortable--we stayed in a room with great views and a pitched ceiling. Geraldine and her husband were incredibly friendly and helpful. They gave us directions to sites and even called in a favor for a very special restaurant on the sea (LinAnnes)to let us arrive and dine later than normal. Breakfast was made to order and we went full Irish breakfast (amazing) one day and super healthy (porridge and fruit) the next. Coffee was good and strong. Geraldine has a tremendous sense of humor and obviously loves being the consummate host. If you want charming, a bit off the tourist track, peace and great beauty, this is where you should stay in Galway.

Hi Everyone,
I studied Fine Art in Gmit (Galway Mayo Institute of Technology) and I have lived in Kinvara for 30 years.
I am married to Noel who is a farmer. Our cottage is located on
the seafront near the picturesque fishing village of Kinvara.
We own a small farm and when my husband is not farming he is
helping me with the Bed and Breakfast business.
We have a very Arty style house which we love and hope you will also.
