Stay at this beautifully renovated historical home right in the heart of this peaceful city, La Paz.
Only a 1 block walk to either the fantastic ocean front boardwalk, the malecon, and a block in the other direction to the historic La Paz Cathedral.
This home is great for visitors without a car as you can walk to everything in the city with ease.
We have three bedrooms, two in the original home and 1 in the very tastefully built casita.
With a 3rd floor rooftop terrace and a 2nd floor rooftop sun deck this home has plenty of space to enjoy the great climate, the ocean views and to entertain!
On the cooler nights we have a great outdoor dining area within in the walled garden, sheltering you from any cooler breezes, or of course you can dine inside on our hand crafted dining table, made by a fantastic local craftsman.
We love this home and wish we could come more often, but until we can we welcome you to come and enjoy it.
My property manager Simon will take care of everything and make sure that you have a perfect stay, and fall in love with La Paz just as we did many years ago!

We were completely impressed with ourselves, having chosen so well from the Internet! The house was not only totally comfortable for us and our visiting friends, but its placement in town was perfect. People in the neighborhood were warm and welcoming, and we walked daily to markets, the Malecon, the marina, and other points of interest.
Simon was always responsive to our needs, questions, or concerns. He helped make our stay a success.
I stayed here with my family during the hottest and most humid months in Baja California Sur (July and August). It was our oases in La Paz. We could not have been happier. For me, this is one of those reviews I almost don't want to write because I know that the house will become so popular I won't be able to rent it next time. The location of this home is AMAZING. Within a block you have the following: the malecon, Les Bakery (the best bakery in Baja, try a torta for lunch and get the homemade frozen garbanzo vegetarian burgers for dinner at home), the organic farmers market on Tuesday and Saturday), Sitge, the bus station (in case you bus from the SJD airport), Buffalo BBQ. On the same street as the house is a great bagel shop, a wonderful juice place with attached artisan food and market (get the fresh (email hidden) music venue on Saturday's, and the only Mezcalaria (Les Miserable) I have ever seen (Mezcal is a wonderful Agave liquor if made or mixed right). I tried several of their mixed drinks and loved their version of a margarita. After you are done, ask them what they put on the rind of the glass...I won't ruin the surprise. The house itself has 3 separated bedrooms, a wonderful 3rd floor deck, and a shaded patio that we used constantly. We had numerous large dinners for friends and family and it was a wonderful space for that. Two things to keep in mind: no oven (there is a toaster oven) and the kitchen has no A/C (only a real issue during the hottest months of the year and we did just fine with it). Two of the bedrooms are on the street and their is noise (peaking on the weekends), but you absolutely cannot expect to stay in downtown La Paz and have it be quiet. That is like having Christmas with no Santa. It's not going to happen people. The noise makers worked great for us. I very, very highly recommend this place for family, groups of friends, couples, you name it. It was the best time I have ever had in Baja and I have been traveling here for over 15 years. La Paz is becoming such a wonderful little city.
An interesting house in a very central location. Very noisy during Carnival of course and a bit noisy after. There is a disco or night club very close that is open into the wee hours. Ear plugs helped. Perhaps the owners were anxious to rent the house but a little more time was necessary to finish the remodel and "get the bugs out". Hot water and showers were an issue but we understand a plumber was coming the day after we left so hopefully those issues will be resolved. Simon was most helpful and tried to resolve water issues while we (three of us) were there, going so far as to walk me through resetting circuit breakers over the phone.
The rooftop patio is great for sitting and enjoying the view and watching the sun go down.
Thank you for your review Kem. Our plumber/electrician upgraded the breaker so that the showers will all run at full temp without any problems, I am sorry I wasn't able to do this during your stay.
Carnival is (email hidden)ly time in La Paz and I hope it didn't disturb too much of your stay and we hope that you will come back and visit us again, maybe in a quieter week.
If you do I will happily provide you with a 15% discount on your stay.
