Had a wonderful time at Nico's Riad. Just like the pictures, excellent service, clean and well presented, the host was prompt at replying to messages, air conditioned and comfortable. Looking forward to staying one more night at the end of trip in Morocco. Thank you nico!
We had a great time at Riad Modern of Nicolas. We were very hospitable and they made us feel very welcome. We were picked up at the airport and it was good to always have a trusting relationship in Marrakech. Moha and his wife were very welcoming and they looked after us. The rooms of the riad corresponded to the photographs. The area is just outside, but you get used to it very quickly. Overall, you learn the life there in a riad like this very well. We would return again and again. Thank you for this great experience!
Great place to stay in Marrakech. we got picked up from the airport and were clearly explained how to get to and from the riad. The riad is very quiet inside and you do not notice the hustle and bustle going on outside.
The riad is beautiful and very clean. Moha came to meet us at the airport and helped us with everything we needed.
A great place to stay!
We had an awesome experience with The Casa Blanca Riad in Marrakech. The riad was nicely decorated and comfortable. Nicolas' staff was very accommodating. His house assistant came with us to the medina and showed us how to find our way around and gave us recommendations on what to do for our short stay.
The breakfast was delicious and was served promptly.
He also arranged to have the house assistant pick us from the bus station and made sure we had a taxi ready to pick us up the last day of our trip.
Although we didn't have the opportunity to meet Nicolas, he made all of the preparations to help us once we arrived and kept in touch with us via e-mail and text messages.
We really enjoyed it while we were there.
My boyfriend and I stayed at this Riad for a few nights last week. The Riad is a very nice and quiet place, inside you can't hear any noise from the busy Moroccan streets. We really needed a place like this as Marrakech, especially the Medina, is so crowded and as the Riad is located outside the Medina "center", it was always pretty stressfull to find our way to the main square. We had dinner twice at the Riad, we simply had to repeat as Fadi is such a good cook! Moha was really nice too, he helped us with everything. On the photos, the Riad looks bigger as it actually is and especially this room is not very spaceous. Still, we liked it a lot!
everything perfect, location of the riad and out of the confusion in the most real and typical of the Medina, both compact but with attention to detail, clean and friendly. Thank Nicolas and Moha , helpful and kind person. Excellent dinner prepared by them. I recommend the riad to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in a discreet place and in my opinion attractive.
A warm welcome always with Moha and Fahti, who guided us around and helped arrange taxis in this wonderful city. The Riad is in a quiet residential area and in order to see the sights we had to navigate the maze of souks. This was confusing and stressful but we got used to it. Room, place and breakfast were all excellent and would come again
We stayed four nights at the Riad Moderne, relaxing after travelling. The rooms are fine, there are plenty of places to lounge and read, in the sun on the roof, under the canvas or in the open space downstairs. It felt very relaxed. We could leave drinks in the fridge to cool and behave much as if we lived there. Nico the owner was there and very helpful, as was Moha and Fati is an exellent cook. I would not hesitate to choose this Riad again.
Walking to the tourist part of the medina takes 15 - 20 minutes. Walking back took us longer as we frequently got lost. I would therefore not recommend this Riad to a single female traveller, unless she is a seasoned traveller and has thick skin. For everyone else, this is well situated and great value. And if you get lost on your way home, ask directions from a friendly shopkeeper and NEVER from any young boy, offering help. This said, we found the people in Marrakesh (and in Morocco in general) friendly and helpful and would like to visit the country again.
