The advantages of renting a room in our place:
1)Reasonable rent. Why pay more, possibly much more, for a room in Central London when you can hop on the tube, a minute away, which takes you into the heart of London?
2)Spacious and comfortable accommodation.
3) Safe, friendly family ambience.
4)A beautiful garden where you can sit and chill out!
5)A beautiful view from the bedroom window. You look onto a large garden (ours!) and behind that the green playing fields of Barnet Football Club. Finally in the distance is the arch of England's most famous stadium and the heart of English football, Wembley. The view at night can transport you into a wonderland. First there are low level lights along the path leading up to Barnet Stadium which have led it to be known locally as "The Runway", then, when lit, the lights of Barnet Stadium and finally beyond that and the lights of distant houses, the lights, if you are lucky enough to see them illuminated, of the iconic arch of Wembley. The new LED lighting installed in 2014 means the arch can be illuminated in an endless range of colourful possibilities. It literally takes your breath away!
5)Very convenient for travel.
6)Very convenient for amenities: the park, restaurants, shops just a minute away!
7)Off street parking if space available (please note cars are parked on the property at guests' own risk!).
8)We have a long list of satisfied guests...read the reviews!

This was our first Airbnb experience and it was a great one! Phil was a tremendous host and from the start was friendly and helpful as was all his family. The house was very clean and the pump-operated shower had great pressure. The house was very near the metro station (one minute walk) which made it very convenient. From the station to Central London was only 30 minutes and being near the end of the line we were always sure of a seat! Another positive point was that next to the station are a couple of great reasonably-priced restaurants and many shops including Tesco. Although we were near the station and of course in London, at the same time we felt a beautiful calm about the place and the view from the back made us feel like we were in the countryside! Yet this was London! Highly recommended and we hope we shall have an opportunity to stay again!
Thank you, Alejandro and Flavia for your appreciation of our house and for being great guests! We have been very fortunate with our Airbnb guests and to host guests like yourselves is not simply a question of entertaining new guests nor of making new acquaintances but indeed of establishing new friends. We hope you will come and stay again!
Thank you for the great stay! Even though I was gone for most of the time Phil was a great host and always up for a small chat. You have everything you need in his home. The room is more than enough, everything is clean and spacious. A small shop and the underground with an easy connection to the city center is near by. I definitely recommend this place to everyone!
My daughter and I stayed for a week and had really pleasant stay.
It is 1 minute walk to the tube and even less to Canons Park.
Everything was clean and communication went smoothly as well.
Phil is a very kind and attentive host. We are missing all moments we spent with Jojo the lovely dog.
Thank you, Phil :)
Would definitely recommend.
We had a really pleasant stay at Phil and Aquillas accommodation. It was neat and tidy and Phil was a solicitous host and the view from our room was a stunning outlook on the arch of Wembley. Definitely recommendable!
The greatest thing about this house is its location, when you get off the Canons Park station,it really takes only one minute to get to the house!with underground, you can go to anywhere you want. The room is neat and warm, with enough space and an open view filled with green which is very rare in London.Actually,I find nothing to criticise about.Definitely,I will recommend this house to everyone.
We really appreciated how clean and comfortable everything was. The room was perfect, beds super comfy. We were very independent so got little time with Phil or family, but we appreciated feeling like we had the space to follow an unpredictable schedule. Phil was so kind to also send some postcards for us and always had tea or coffee to offer. The neighborhood is also really great, Canons Park was beautiful and folks were friendly. The metro is CLOSE, unfortunately we got stuck in tube strike and had to travel very far. If the tube isn't working, the location is far, but that is just something to keep in mind. Otherwise a great experience.
Thank you Monica and Rosa for being great guests and for your positive comments. As far as the tube is concerned you were just very unfortunate to be here in the middle of a tube strike. Such events are VERY rare and normally the trains run with great frequency... every few minutes... from here into the centre.
