The space was great- it was super clean and cozy, everything smelled great, and it is in a lively and young neighborhood of Cleveland.
Brooks was amazing- everything that you would hope for in an airbnb host- he was personable, caring, showed up in person for our check-in etc. He was available by text throughout our stay to bring us whatever we needed and make recommendations. It's because of hosts like Brooks that I use airbnb.
We would absolutely stay here again.
Our stay in Cleveland was for my husband's surgery, so certainly not the ideal getaway. The place was better than expected- cute & spacious & homey. Brooks was amazing! He met us at the door with a key, helped us with our bags, gave us tips on local grocery stores, brought us more towels, and checked in on us throughout the week. I kind of felt like I had a friend there! When my husband needed to stay in the hospital an additional day, Brooks accommodated my last-minute request & I was able to stay there another night. His flexibility & compassion made all the difference during a stressful time. If future trips to Cleveland are necessary, I would only use Brooks!
Brookes was very accommodating. He has many properties in the area. This one may be a bit steep on the stairs for some. But location location location: near Beachwood Center, The art museum, Little Italy, Historic Shaker Heights, Case Western, etc.....it was warm and cozy which was much needed on a snowy Easter
Brooks was a wonderful host. He met me when I checked in and had answers to questions that I didn't even have yet! He checked on me to make sure that everything was fine and when it wasn't, made the correction as quickly as possible. I would definitely stay with him again next time I visit Cleveland.
We loved having Brooks as our airbnb host. When we first arrived, there was a problem with the wifi and Brooks switched us to another apartment. It was a great place: warm, comfortable, kitchen completely outfitted and close to grocery store and Starbucks. When ever we had a question or issue, he was on it immediately--more blankets, another pillow, TV cable working for the super bowl. We highly recommend them as hosts and their space!

About the Host, Brooks
From our years as landlords, my wife, Mika and I have made our places home for hundreds of people; we love the friendships that we have created and we love taking care of people. We are very health oriented, we eat organically, we have a beautiful vegetable garden and we are very physically active; Mika is a yoga instructor, 2 kids are college athletes and 1 kid is a wilderness guide.
We feel that we have created wonderful spaces at our properties, and, influenced by what we were hearing from transplant families, we felt that we would like to provide healing, healthy and comfortable spaces, on a short term basis for anyone attracted to what we've created. We do this FULL TIME. Our guests include lots of Cleveland Clinic and University Hospital people, both patient families as well as md's, people between houses / jobs, film makers, travelling nurses, visitors, etc.
If we can't help you in time, we will refer to our comrades.
