Constructed in 2008. This is a custom built apartment in a masonry mansion in North Admiral's classic & upscale neighborhood. Separate exterior entrance, stainless steel appliances, granite counter, gas range, full size stackable washer/dryer, micro/fan, dishwasher, gas-fireplace etc. Flat screen TV with streaming movies.

The space
Custom designed home with a private high end apartment ("accessory dwelling unit"). It has 1 King size bed in master bedroom, 1 Full size bed at the loft area (accessible via ladder from living room), full size bath, fridge with filtered water, gas fireplace, skylights, built-in ironing board as well as a nice balcony with territorial view. We also got high speed wifi internet, flat screen tv with active Amazon Fire stick giving a variety of streaming movies, music etc. from Amazon Prime! You may open French doors that separate living and bedroom, thereby watching TV from bed :)
Local HD TV channels are also available.
Cleaning:
We follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights:
Our cleaners sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob
We use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and we wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination
We clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists
We provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay
We comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines issued by King County Seattle Health Department

Guest access
Street parking (on Sunset Ave SW) directly in front of the home. The street has ample parking and it is quiet. Kindly, do not block driveway to garages.

Other things to note
If you travel with small children, note that we have available upon request play yard bed and other essentials for children. However, you must ask in advance so we can provide prior arrival.

Neighborhood highlights

The central location in North Admiral, West Seattle, makes it ideal to reach Alki beach, Admiral, Junction and airport. Seattle & it's many attractions are only 10-15 minutes away by car. Try driving or walk down the 1 mile narrow & steep Bonair Dr SW to Alki beach park.
In addition to all restaurants and cafes on Alki, there are several more local restaurants at Admiral, a few minutes drive to California Ave SW / SW Admiral Way. In same area, you will also find gourmet grocery store Metropolitan Market, Fitness Together, newly renovated Safeway, historic Admiral Theatre. And don't forget thin crust Italian pizza at Pizzeria 22 or even better in our mind, the newly opened restaurant/bar wood fired pizza etc at Mioposto (California/Hill street); both located a 10 min walk away. Yeah!!

From beach to forest: Short of time for the Olympic rain forest on the Peninsula?; experience it just down the street; we strongly recommend a walk through Schmitz Park just down the street, entry on 5551 SW Admiral Way. Schmitz Preserve Park, is a 53.1-acre park around 15 blocks east of Alki Point in West Seattle. It features Schmitz Park Creek and one of the last stands of old-growth forest in the city. A hidden gem of a park, take the loop and walk down into Alki by following the Alki trail.
