This place is one in a million for its location and the designer feel that it provides. I myself use airbnb quite a lot during my travels and understand well the importance of a warm and secure welcome!

This totally depends on you - I usually like to interact and get to know the people who stay with me - however if you are not comfortable with it - I d be happy to be as discreet as possible - I have become great friend with some of my guests.

However this is totally up to you - this is your holiday in Dublin and I just want to make sure you are making the most of it. I am available to assist you if you need to at any time.

The Neighborhood

This is a lovely neighborhood in a quiet residential area right in the city centre which is quite rare.

The neigborhood is usually quiet which is nice after a day spent in the hustle and bustle of Dublin City Centre.

A little piece of heaven!

Getting around

You can access the house by bus or tram which are located only 2 minutes away from the house but again weather permitting - You can walk to pretty much anywhere in the city in about 15 minutes ! Taxi from City Centre would only cost about €7

  • We had a wonderful stay with Flohic. His home is lovely, and just a short walk from the train station, the bus to the airport, and the grocery store. It is also conveniently located for visiting downtown and the city sites most of which are a short (15-30) min walk away. The area was quiet, and we had a very comfortable stay!

  • Beautiful house in residential mont brown neighbourhoud. Comfortable room with seperate, small toilet. Easy walking distance to centre. If raining (be prepared), tram or bus available at 200m. Very friendly hosts Flohic and Anna. I recommend!

  • Flohic and his girlfriend Anna are the loveliest of people, and Flohic's approach to hosting was the perfect balance of attentiveness and ease. If I had questions before or during my stay I got clear and timely information. And also appreciated was that the apartment was sleekly designed (just see the photos).

If I ever have the pleasure of returning to Dublin, Flohic's space will be the first on my list of places to stay.

    Thank you!

  • The neighbourhood is quaint and the place was very easy to find once we arrived. Make sure to street view it because that's how I recognized the streets. The Loft was a 10-15min tram ride to the core of the city; the tram and bus stop was conveniently located-- just a street away. A couple of places/landmarks that are walking distance to the loft are: Guinness storehouse and Irish Museum of Modern Art. If you're looking for a local pubs around the area...there are few. You must go to the city for the good ones. But we (email hidden) that was charming called Ryan's (on Parkgate St) in an old Victorian house. Flohic's place was very clean, he was SO accommodating, and hospitable. Some tips: he provides towels, bring your own hand soap, bring your own hair dryer, and the powder room in the room where you'll be staying is really tight (it does the job when you're just washing up/getting ready). But he has a large modern full washroom downstairs which we were welcome to use. His place was very modern and up-to-date. I would recommend this place to friends.

  • We had a great stay at Flohic’s beautiful loft apartment. From the outside, it looks like an ordinary house on a quiet residential street but inside it is quite spectacular. The bedroom is located upstairs and has a private toilet with a full bathroom just downstairs. The kitchen-dining area is spacious and full of light. The wifi connection is great.

It’s located in a nice area about a 25 minute walk to the city centre and 15 minutes to the popular Temple Bar. You can also jump on a bus which stops not too far from the house. The luas (tram) is also nearby. There are supermarkets and restaurants in the nearby area.

Flohic (email hidden) and, though we didn’t see him much due to him being at work and us off sightseeing, he was always easy to talk to and gave us a few good suggestions on places to eat and to check out. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay.

  • I spent a good quality extended time with Flohic and his girlfriend Anna in his place. We shared several dinners and music experiences. Flohic is a cool person, looking for the best way to make the guest feels really comfortable as homestay. The house has all you need and more to enjoy the stay and is very clean and lightfull, located in a quite area close to the center. It's my reference place in Dublin. Thanks Flohic

  • Flohic (email hidden), very nice and friendly.

The place was very nice and comfortable. We actually stayed in side more than we though because the weather was a little crazy.

The location was a little bit outside of the central area with a 20 minute walk to get to our favorite restaurant near Temple Bar area.. I recommend taking the bus to get in and out of the central down town if you want to go.

  • Flohic (email hidden)! He kept in communication with me from the beginning until the arrival. Most importantly, he is very friendly and cooperative. Being that it was my first time in Dublin, I truly appreciated his attention to detail - including excellent directions and walking us to the apartment!
The apartment itself was cozy, organized, clean, and lovely! It felt much more like the apartment of a friend, rather than stranger. The decor is unique and tasteful.
My stay at Flohic's attributed to my new love for Dublin and I'd be happy to return.
