  • Wow! This place was a perfect 10. The apartment was bigger than most places I lived before I was 30. Maybe we're just thick, but it was hard to tell just how nice it was from the pictures. Two big bedrooms, an outside deck with a view of the water, and a fully stocked kitchen. She even left small sample soaps in the bathroom to highlight a friend's small business, which, of course, my wife loved. Marina used to live here and it shows. The place has all the feel of a friends house - pictures of family on the wall, great beds, and a really warm feel. She even left fresh fruit on the kitchen table and a beer in the fridge.

I can't imagine a better location for Korcula town. It's far enough away loud partying downtown sounds like laughter coming over the water, but close enough to walk to everything is 5 minutes. You can swim right out the front door, rent a kayak about 200 yards away, and we sat out on a bench in front of the house drank wine and watched the sun set. Parking was easy and 15 feet down the road. It was the best place we stayed in during our entire visit to Croatia. I can see why it's hard to book during the busy season. (One small warning, cars to zip by on the road outside, but you just have to be on your toes.)

Marina was also the best host we had. She spent hours telling us about the island, where to go, what to see, and even offered to set up personal wine tasting tours. (She may not do this for everyone, but we felt lucky for the offer, even if we didn't have the time.) She went out of her was to show us how locals celebrate the Day of The Dead (Halloween, think graveyards and candles) and we even had a chance to have dinner with her downtown one evening. She's a social butterfly with a huge heart and an awesome place to rent. She really made our time in Korcula awesome.

This place is easily big enough for two couples or a family with kids. Book it if you can!

  • Marina actively and continually ensured that our stay at her apartment and in Korcula was perfect; she exceeded my wildest imaginations of a host. Traveling in Croatia during the low season sometimes presented some challenges due to fewer ferries, etc, but with Marina as our guide, we faced zero challenges. She is kind and warm, which is very much reflected in her apartment. Stepping out of the front door or sitting on the patio we were facing beautiful blue water and huge mountains, breathtaking. We were able to visit a vineyard, got great restaurant recommendations, she helped us book a car, and some take away lavender soaps; we were only there two nights! I am a frequent AirBnB user, and this was by far and away the best experience I have ever (probably will ever) had. If you are even slightly considering a visit to Korcula, you must. And you must stay at this apartment. You'd be a fool otherwise. Thank you Marina!

  • We stayed at Marina's perfect apartment in early October as part of a honeymoon trip through Southern Dalmatia. We loved Marina's apartment, and we loved Marina. She made us feel so at home. She met us at the bus station after coming over on the ferry, and drove us the short way to her place. Marina was so welcoming and kind-- she even left us a box of heart-shaped chocolates since she knew we were on our honeymoon. She also stopped by to chat and to give us suggestions on restaurants and bars. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. We particularly loved the small patio off one of the bedrooms. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk to Old Town, and has a fabulous view of the Old Town from the bench across the street. You can swim right in front of the apartment (really). Our only wish is that we could have stayed longer in Marina's perfect place! Thank you, Marina!!

  • We stayed at Marina's place for two nights in late September for our honeymoon. Marina's beautiful apartment is located only ~5 minutes walking to Old Town, and the walk to Old Town is extremely beautiful and scenic as Marina's apartment is located on the waterfront street that guidebooks recommend for a nice view over Old Town. Marina is an extremely warm, friendly, and enthusiastic host! Before we arrived, she contacted us to see when we'd arrive. She then arranged to meet us at the ferry port before bringing us to her apartment. Marina was so helpful, giving us tips on what to do in Korcula, and which restaurants to dine at. She also told us not to hesitate to contact her with any questions we might have. She then showed us around her apartment and kindly left us beverages and fruit to have if we wanted. Her bathroom was also appointed with lovely Croatian lavender bath products, that Marina generously told us that we could take with us upon our departure as well. Marina, you're wonderful and I hope many future guests can enjoy your hospitality and your lovely apartment!

  • This was about the best apartment I have ever rented for vacation. Marina was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She met us at the ferry and brought us to the apartment where we shared a beer and chatted. The apartment is gorgeous and extremely well equipped. The location could not be any better. I give this the best recommendation possible.

  • Marina surpasses any expectations one would have of a host and treats you like a long lost friend. Her apartment is immaculately presented and fully equipped as if it were her home. It is perfectly positioned right next to the water and minutes away from the town, ferry and bus station. Marina’s apartment is brilliant in every aspect.

  • Marina was the most generous and caring host. She met us at the ferry and took us to her beautiful apartment. She made sure we were all settled in and left us some treats and groceries in the refrigerator to get us started. Every morning we enjoyed fresh fruit on the patio overlooking the gorgeous view of Korcula old town. The apartment is in the perfect location, very close to town but on a nice quiet street. The apartment has anything you would need and is kept extremely clean. The pictures really don't do it justice! Everyday, many envious tourists would walk by making comments about how nice it would be to stay there. Marina came by to check on us multiple times and was there to say goodbye when we left. Our stay was perfect and we will definitely be back!! Thank you Marina!

  • Marina was an excellent host. She picked us up from the ferry, took us on a tour of the island, and told us which wineries and islands to visit. Plus the apartment has water views from both bedrooms! I would Definitely stay again!

  • We had a great stay in Marina's beautiful property. It is right in the center of everything and convenient to all of Korcula town. In addition, Marina was very helpful in answering questions and even arranged a transfer to Korcula from Dubrovnik for us. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again or recommend to a friend.

  • Marina was a great host, she picked us up at the ferry and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed in the apartment, even had some juice in the fridge which was much appreciated. She had plenty of brochures and information on how we could visit the island. The apartment was large and spacious, more than sufficient for my bf and I. The kitchen has all the amenities, the patio is large and you can hang your clothes there to dry. The location is amazing, it's literally a few minutes by walking to get to the old town and the ferry docks. The best part, is the water that's literally just outside the apartment, which you can jump in and swim in at any time you want. I definitely recommend Marina's apartment! Would definitely stay here again!
