I´m always available for chats and advices and I do enjoy a good conversation with my guests, but I'm also very respectful of your privacy.
I love my neighborhood because it is quiet but yet close to the nightlife, bars and restaurants, and all the mayor sites of the Center. We also have our "own" swimming pool across the street and a very nice public park just down the (email hidden) Reykjavik art museum.
The flybus stops just around the corner (less than 30 sec walk) and the city buses central station is with in 5 min walk, and the BSI bus central is 10 min away, plus there is plenty of free parking in my street.
Other Things to Note
My neighborhood is one of the first in Reykjavik to be planed and designed by the authorities it was built around 1935 and has strong funkis characteristics, I enjoy very much taking short walks around it and sense the past.
Please do not smoke in the apartment, and I appreciate that you take good care of it and leave it the way you found it.
We had a lovely stay at Ragga's guesthouse in Reykjavik. She arrived on time to let us in, everything was clean, and she was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable!
We had a wonderful stay in central Reykjavik. The house is about 45 minutes from the KAF airport. It is within waking distance of all the main sights in Reykjavik. There is street parking though a little narrow so pull up on the curb.
The front door locks when you close it and sometimes it was hard to open from the inside.
The room is very warm and clean. The bed was comfortable. There is a small burner and convection oven, though we used the water boiler. The tap water is so sweet. The water does have a strong sulfur smell when showering but its worth the hot water. The washer takes a few hours on the eco setting but clothing dried very quickley. There is a small fridge that had some condiments, very nice. The cupboard also had some cooking necessities that were nice to not have to buy for our short stay.
I would highly recommend anyone considering to stay here.
We had a great stay in Reykjavik in Ragnhildur's apartment.
It is very conveniently situated, a few minutes walk into the middle of town and the famous and beautiful church.
We felt at home and enjoyed our stay. Quiet and private, and the on site parking was a bonus after a few days traveling in a rental.
Simple, but everything you need for a short stay.
Prompt responses- key in the door when we got there. It was cozy inside , coming in from a cold snowy day.
We didn't have a phone and owners were quite helpful with assisting us with some arrangements we needed to make.
Facilities were good, everything you need. The sulphury smell in the bathroom was unpleasant but not surprising -hot springs water.
Lovely house in a perfect location. The studio has everything needed to make the perfect stay in Reykjavik. Highly recommended.
