Interaction with Guests
I´m always available for chats and advices and I do enjoy a good conversation with my guests, but I'm also very respectful of your privacy.
I love my neighborhood because it is quiet but yet close to the nightlife, bars and restaurants, and all the mayor sites of the Center. We also have our "own" swimming pool across the street and a very nice public park just down the (email hidden) Reykjavik art museum.
The flybus stops just around the corner (less than 30 sec walk) and the city buses central station is with in 5 min walk, and the BSI bus central is 10 min away, plus there is plenty of free parking in my street.
Other Things to Note
My neighborhood is one of the first in Reykjavik to be planed and designed by the authorities it was built around 1935 and has strong funkis characteristics, I enjoy very much taking short walks around it and sense the past.
Please do not smoke in the apartment, and I appreciate that you take good care of it and leave it the way you found it.
What a fantastic location! Ragnhildur's apartment is a great place for exploring the city and within short walking distance of the main street, harbour and mountain views. There is hotel 30 seconds walk away where tours can pick you up from which is really handy. The apartment itself is a nice size and extremely warm which is great when it can be so cold outside. We were left guidebooks to help us with directions to supermarkets etc and towels were provided too. We met Ragnhildur once and she was very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Thank you very much.
Clean and cosy apartment, great location near the city centre. Good choice to visit Reykjavik. Ragga was a very helpful and nice host. Thanks very much.
The apartment was clean and had everything listed provided. It was in a very handy location and the check-in process was smooth.
My girlfriend and I arrived a bit later than expected to Ragga's studio later than expected, but that wasn't an issue. Ragga had made arrangements for us to collect the keys and everything was smooth and easy. The studio itself is very nice. It's comfortable, clean and has everything you'd need during your stay. The studio is very quite and is located on a quite street. Still, it is within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, etc. While I did not actually meet Ragga, she was very friendly in our communications. She was always quick to reply and was always very helpful. Had we not arrived so late and left for home so early, I'd have liked to have met her. Hopefully next time! I highly recommend staying here!
Raga was most welcoming when we arrived and showed us into her studio apartment. She had a little booklet with instructions on how to operate the tv etc which was a help. Kitchen is stocked with utensils etc, but a few tea bags would have been nice.
Unfortunately the water in Reykjavik has a really strong sulphur smell which makes showering not so pleasant, but shower worked well. A good overnight stop for the money.
Lovely studio - good value - as described and very handy for central Reyjavik. Our hosts were very helpful - even taking our bags for the day as we were flying out at night. Not to mention taking us to our accomodation when we showed up at the wrong house!
Overall very happy with our stay.

I'm a well travelled open minded and easy going person. In my experience one of the most important thing for a traveller is a good night sleep and for that you need clean rooms and good beds. We have that plus a great location. I'm also a qualified Icelandic tour guide, with 14 years of experience in the field and happy to assist you in any way possible before and during your stay in Reykjavík.
