Originally a fishing village, Calella has grown into a small resort where development has been strictly controlled so that the original charm of the sea front and village has not been affected. The beach front is most picturesque with various sandy bays and coves. In place of high rise blocks of apartments the emphasis is generally on small well planned developments in wooded landscaped gardens. Calella will meet many people's 'idea of the perfect resort', large enough to contain excellent amenities including good restaurants, bars and shops, yet small enough to avoid the package tour. The apartment is situated on the hillside of the village, very quiet area, 1km to the centre and 750m to the beach El Golfet of Calella. The apartment is situated in the ground floor and composed of 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom with shower, full equipped kitchen, lounge with fireplace, Satellite TV and Wi-Fi. It has a big terrace with nice views on the sea and the community pool, ideal for families with children. It also offers a private parking space in the community garage. The apartment central heating, so it is also ideally for autumn or winter breaks.
During the high season months July and August the changeover is always on Saturdays. The flat will be ready at 16 hours and must be left at 10.00 hours the day of departure. The rest of the year the dates are flexible and bookings can be taken from any other day.
Easy key pick up service through the local agent Immo Cala Marquesa. One of the local multilingual staff will take you personally to the apartment and show you everything.
Bedlinen can be hired for 8 € per person, towels can be hired for 8 Euros per set (1 bath towel and 1 hand towel). Final cleaning (65 euros) to be paid by the tenants. Special price for long term lettings during October-April. (Please contact owner).
Cot and highchair can be provided with previous advise. Cot 30 euros and high-chair 18 euros for whole stay.
Thank you for your great hospitality - lovely place and town at Costa Brava just as written in the description. However, having car is crucial if one is not keen on going up/down the hill all the time:)
The apartment in Calella de Palafrugell was wonderful. It has everything you need to make a wonderful holiday. The kitchen needed a few things like a sponge and tea towels, but otherwise, it is perfect. It was very clean and looks just like the photos. Sitting on the terrace after a morning swim and seeing the view is worth it!
The agency was very respectful and responsive and communicated clearly. I recommend it!

El apartamento es fantástico, la piscina, lo cercano que esta la cala Folget y la posibilidad de hacer senderismo. De verdad ha sido una experiencia inolvidable y se puede repetir. La ubicación de pueblo es equidistante para conocer tooooda la costa brava.
La atención es muy pero muy buena, es totalmente recomendable.
The apartment was as beautiful, clean and tidy. The location is perfect too, with the beach and other places in easy walking distance (10 mins).
We were given very clear and helpful instructions beforehand - we arrived late at night so this was very good and meant we found the apartment easily, could get inside and knew where to park etc.

Un agréable appartement avec vue sur mer et juste a cote du jardin et de la piscine. Le village est agréable surtout au mois de mai ou il y a peu de monde. Un endroit très agréable pour un long week-end.
