The Gardener's Cabin is the perfect "pitstop" centrally located in Roanoke's historic Old Southwest District, approximately one mile from the center of Downtown Roanoke. It provides up to two guests with a safe, private and convenient place to spend a night or two while enjoying Roanoke. This 200 square foot bungalow is situated in a secluded courtyard behind Bent Oaks Manor and once housed the family's gardener when the property was built in 1910. One dog permitted.

The space
The Gardener's Cabin was remodeled in 2019 to provide travelers with the maximum amount of comfort in only 200 square feet of living space. The Cabin is compact but well-appointed with a focus on efficiency and comfort! *Please note if traveling with children who need separate bed accommodations such as a bassinet or pack and play it can make the space feel even smaller. Reach out to us for suggestions if you are traveling with children.*

The living space features a queen-size bamboo bed, flat-screen Samsung TV with Fubo, WiFi, room-darkening shades and Mitsubishi mini split! The closet doubles as a kitchenette... there’s a freezerless mini fridge, small microwave and k-cup coffee maker. The bathroom is filled with premium shampoos, conditioners, body washes and hand soap.

I allow one dog during your stay.

The Gardener's Cabin is a detached one-story structure directly behind the main house at Bent Oaks Manor. It has its own private entry. Parking is a few feet away and within the security and privacy of the courtyard.

Guests are welcome to sit in our garden retreat... lined with glowy Edison lights that come on each night automatically. The Manor's front porch is also a relaxing spot with a swing and rocking chairs.

Other things to note
This unit is very dog friendly! We just ask that you please be mindful and wipe their paws each time before they come in.
