This was a lovely little spot to stay. Ross and her husband are such warm and welcoming hosts. The view at the house over Launceston is gorgeous. The room was perfect for me & I was completely comfortable. I'll definitely be staying next time I go to visit Tassie.
Rosa, David and Jessie (the dog) were very accommodating during my two day stay in Launceston. The Studio Room and House is exactly how it was outlined on the website - with the exemplary breakfast (not to mention the view upon the Tamar river and Launceston downtown from the balcony) being the pièce de résistance. I strongly recommend Rosa, David and Jessie (the dog) home - particularly if you're looking for a place not to far, not to close but at the just right. Oh, and I love the architecture of their house too!
Rosa and David were such beautiful hosts. Giving us tips on wineries and routes to take for our day trips. We loved the location- the view of the river is such a beautiful sight to wake up to! And just up the road from cataract gorge entrance and a short walk to some great seafood made the finishing touches to our stay in Launceston just amazing. Having breakfast on the balcony was the best start to our days. we truly enjoyed our time with rosa and David! Thankyou!
This place was exactly how it looked on the website, beautiful. The hosts, Rosa, David and Jessie the dog, were absolutely wonderful. I couldn't have asked for more hospitable, kindly and interesting people to stay with.
The location was near some very scenic attractions and easy to get around. I had such a lovely stay here, that the only bad thing about it was that I had to leave :-).
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with Rosa. She is a great hostess and made us very welcome, giving us the run of the house. We stayed in the studio and this was ideal for Louise and I as we could come and go at all hours. The house is ideally situated, as it is a short walk to the Gorge, and an easy stroll into town. There is a great cafe on the waters edge just past the bridge. Two things I must comment on are the apples (from the fruit Rosa provided with breakfast) - they were delicious - and the huge flowering magnolia tree in the front garden. Thank you Rosa!
