The Space

We're centrally located in SoMa, one of San Francisco's more interesting and totally fun neighborhoods! Breweries, Coffee Roasters, Nightclubs and amazing restaurants are all just 5 minutes distance or less! Or just relax and enjoy our light-filled, victorian space.

We're travelers at heart and love hosting other travelers! At our place you're going to get a local SoMa experience, not a hotel or typical tourist experience. We think that's one of the best parts of staying on Airbnb, and at our places around the US! : )

Your private room, the Blue Room, has a queen-size bed, super comfortable bedsheets, a closet and a comfortable reading chair. WiFi access throughout the house!

The house is a historic 1902 Victorian 5BR. Sophie, a wonderful tibetan terrier, lives here temporarily. This is one of four rooms. The others can be found on the right under 'Related Listings':

When you're ready to venture, there are abundant choices nearby sure to entertain every type of traveler - from fantastic restaurants and cafes, to live music and nightclubs. Some of our favorite nearby places include Sightglass Coffee Bar & Roastery for incredible local coffee, City Beer for a ridiculous selection of microbrews, Thai Restaurants, Indian Restaurants, Vegetarian Restaurants and more.

The Moscone center is approximately 0.8 miles, 4 blocks or 15 minutes.

Indulge your culinary desires on the gas range. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless appliances, microwave, a coffeemaker, waffle maker, toaster, blender, and tea kettle. Waffles, fresh fruit, bread, organic coffee and tea are all included! Walking-distance grocery stores include Trader Joe's, Whole Food's, Rainbow Grocery and Harvest Market. Please use the kitchen!

• Washer/Dryer access provided free of charge
• Fast Wireless Internet
• Organic Coffee
• Tons of Tea
• Awesome local restaurant & attraction recommendations
• Decor is modern, clean, and minimalist. None of our 'stuff' is laying around - it's your place!

SoMa's multifaceted character brings together all sorts of people. Tech-savvy entrepreneurs rub elbows with well-read bohemian types, and museum curators share the sidewalks with ill-groomed individuals. Hip bars, clubs, and specialty coffee cafes hide among SoMa’s increasing number of vacant industrial warehouses awaiting renovation. On game day, visitors to SoMa include those looking to hear the crack of the bat—this neighborhood is the home of the San Francisco Giants.

  • Really fantastic place, everything was as described, really enjoyed staying there, definitely going to remember this place for the next time I'll be here in San Francisco.

  • It's a very nice place with a comfy bed. I had an opportunity to chat with some of the other guests over beers from the amazing beer store around the corner. Definitely looking forward to staying here again.

  • Was lucky enough to meet Graham on the first day, and he gave me a quick tour of the house (very beautiful) and told me about the neighbourhood cafes. The room - and indeed the entire house, including the bathroom - was very clean. Met Maria a few times during the stay, and she's very sweet as well. Both the hosts stay out of your way, unless you need them for anything. I would stay again here, no doubt.

  • The room was lovely and the bed very comfortable. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh. Other guests had put out some bread and fruit for sharing so I was able to have a quick breakfast in the morning. I arrived at night and was easily able to park right outside on the street, though you have to move it during the day because of parking restrictions.

  • I had a very good time at Graham and Maria's place. The apartment is beautiful and super clean, the hosts were responsive and helpful (via email, we never actually met in person). I would definitely stay there again!

  • Good location, clean and a very comfortable bed!

  • Everything was perfect, Marie (sadly didn't meet Graham) was very helpful and a warming person. The room was great, I got even organic gluten free oatmeal on my first day. See you next time again in SFO. Thanks so much for everything!!!

We absolutely love to travel, meet new people and have unique experiences. In addition to using Airbnb while traveling, I am a host in Seattle, Steamboat Springs CO, and San Francisco! I worked for Apple and Airbnb for a number of years, and before that I traveled from Alaska to Argentina by land, pursuing the art of photography. María is originally from Panamá but has lived in many South American countries. She's a Veterinarian from Chile and loves yoga, meditation, playing the ukulele, good books, vegan food, teas, gardening and enjoy life :)
