Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • We loved our house and host in the Pringle Creek Community. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. She showed us around the property and introduced us to several others in the Community. We did not find our hair dryer and I called about it and she left a brand new one for us that very day.
It was very clean except for two very small hairs in the tub. I am very observant and I bet my husband did not even notice.
My husband and I slept upstairs and I chose the side of the bed farthest from the stairs. There is a window above the stairs that shows a beautiful view of the sunrise in the morning that I enjoyed (so, I know why they have not covered it.) but it also shows the street light to the person sleeping on the side of the bed that I chose. I brought eye covers for our trip and without those we would have had to move the bed so that the street light would not have been in my view at night. If I had been sleeping on the other side of the bed, I don't think it would have bothered me. So if light at night bothers you, bring eye covers but definitely book here.
We would book here again. The Community grounds are BEAUTIFUL!! I wish we had had more time to wander over the grounds. It was very quiet and peaceful. (There is a train that I could hear very FAINTLY, but I LOVE the distant sound of trains.)

  • We were in town for Willamette University's Family weekend. We had previously stayed at the Comfort Inn. You drive through a modern industrial park to reach Pringle Creek Community. It was quite a surprise to find that Pringle Creek is located in a peaceful, rural setting, which will remain until the development builds out. The location turned out to be quite convenient for accessing Willamette - a relatively traffic free 10 minute drive.

The house is new, LEED certified, has modern furnishings and very clean. Highly recommended. Note that the house does not have a TV, not necessarily a bad thing. There is also not a couch, but instead four living room chairs. Our only real complaint is that there are not any window coverings and a very bright street light is located directly across the street. This light shined directly into the loft master bedroom, making sleeping difficult. Nothing that some window coverings couldn't cure. The street light seems out of place in such a wonderful setting.

Besides the bright street light shining into the loft bedroom, this guest house is outstanding and a great place to stay if visiting Salem.

  • The guest cottage is beautiful and was perfect for our family. Was a great central location between Portland and the coast. Grounds are peaceful and groundskeeper was attentive. Thanks Pringle Creek!

  • The picture doesn't do it justice. Very nicely decorated, clean and modern interior in a very quiet, interesting community.

Stayed there 2 nights for son's graduation from Williamette and beat all to heck staying in a hotel room.

No tv but did have wireless internet and a fireplace if you're so inclined.
