In one of the best and safest residential neighborhoods, the apt is close to the city center and main tourist attractions. Within a three block radius you will find some of the best restaurants, cafes and night spots, all for an incredibly low price!

The space

The apartment on offer has one thousand square feet, two bedrooms that accommodate up to four persons, one bedroom with a double bed the other with two single beds, with one and a half bathrooms, dining and living room, kitchen and laundry room.

Clean sheets bedding and towels are provided. For every week that you stay an extra set of sheets and towels will be supplied. For every 14 day period that you stay you can have the apartment cleaned and bed(s) made if you wish.

Free wireless internet and cable TV for two television sets is provided. The apartment has two heaters; La Paz can get chilly in winter, especially at night, even in summer when it rains a lot.

The apartment has a water heater. That means that you'll get hot water 24 hours a day when you use the sink in the bathroom and of course in the shower. It also means you'll get good water pressure in the shower as opposed to showers that don't have water heaters.

Starter supplies of hand soap and toilet paper are supplied as well as shampoo.

The apartment has a washing machine and facilities for laundry to hang out to dry, as well as an iron and ironing board. There is also a professional laundry service about a block away which charges about two dollars to wash a kilogram of regular clothing. Suits and jackets cost three to three and a half dollars to dry clean.

The land line phone can be used for unlimited local calls to other land lines only.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the standard appliances. Also provided are kitchen and dining implements such as cooking utensils, pots, pans, china, glasses, silverware and the like.

A starter kitchen package is provided with sugar, salt, coffee, tea, coca tea (good for altitude sickness), sponge, dish soap, detergent, rubber gloves and trash bags.

Thanks to the suggestions of our wonderful guests we have improved the accommodations with things like a new mattress for the double bed, a better shower head so that you will have even more water pressure, and a new tap for the kitchen sink; there is always room for improvement! Also, a brand new water heater has been installed so that you will get even better water pressure when you take a shower!

The apartment is on a 17th floor which gives it a spectacular view. Also, you need not walk up steep streets (La Paz makes San Francisco look as flat as your dining room table) and be left out of breath to get to it because the streets immediately around the apartment building are relatively flat.

What you get that is not included in the standard amenities:

•Bi-weekly housecleaning (if requested)
•Clean sheets and towels every week (if staying more than a week)
•Land line phone with unlimited local phone calls
•Hot water 24 hours a day in the bathroom
•Complete cooking and dining implements
•Optional laundry service for a fee
•Bathroom and kitchen starter supplies
•Cable in two TV sets

What you get as standard amenities:

•Wireless internet that accommodates more than one device
•Cable TV
•Hot tub
•Washing machine
•Parking space
•Family/kid friendly
•Suitable for events

All of the apartment is accessible exclusively to guests. The apartment can be reserved by only one party at a time, whether the party is made up of one person or seven.

Carlos has a beautiful apartment and we really enjoyed the neighborhood. We were also thankful for his clear instructions on how to navigate our stay prior to arrival- they were extremely helpful

I highly recommend Carlos' place. Besides the apartment being located in a very nice area of La Paz, Carlos was a great host.

Carlos is a great host and even stayed later as we flew in to La Paz at night. He walked us around and answered any of our questions. I would definitely stay there again.

Carlos is a very attentive and detailed host. He responded to our messages fast every time and we know that he's someone we can trust since our first contact with him. The apartment doesn't look as new as we had expected from the photos, but it's very spacious and the 1.5 bathrooms is so convenient for the four of us to share. We didn't stay over night and didn't take any hot shower neither. But from research, I found that hot shower is a luxury in La Paz so it is a definitely a big plus to the place!

When I was at George Washington University in Washington D.C. a couple of years ago I stumbled upon Airbnb. It seemed like a great idea so I decided to give it a try. I wanted to visit some friends up in New York and take in the U.S. Open as well so I booked a stay in a place in Queens (where I used to live when I was in grade school) and it worked out fine.
When I returned home I decided to try the opposite side of the coin and be a host, I must admit, not without a little bit of trepidation. I mean, I had roommates in college with whom I even shared the same room, but that was a long time ago. So, since I had a spare bedroom in the place where I was living I went ahead and rented it out through Airbnb.
Anyway, I’m happy to say that I’ve enjoyed hosting interesting and fine guests and I’m glad that I decided to become a host. Now that I have the chance to be a host for an entire apartment I’m looking forward to meeting other interesting and fine people. My hope is that I might make a difference in their, actually your, enjoyment and appreciation of La Paz if you come here, helping you to have the best experience possible. See you soon!
