All that we ask is that you do not smoke in the apartment and to please leave our home the way you found it.
Erica's place is precisely as pictured, exceptionally clean, quiet, bright, comfortable, and modern--she put out NY books and maps for us, provided plush towels, excellent coffee, and offered us use of her well-stocked fridge. This host answers calls and texts immediately--so key hand-off was easy (in fact, she moved the place in order to accommodate our special request).
The neighborhood is safe, clean, young and artsy--a stone's throw from great coffee shops, tea bars, and a french crepe place that's to die for--we found a comic shop with new graphic novels, gourmet cheese and wine shops, vintage stores w/vinyl, and ones where locals artists sell their wares. You could spend a day just taking pictures of gorgeous graffiti in this area. While Manhattan's a close subway ride, we preferred to spend most of our time in this lower-key part of NYC--it was wonderful to return to Erica's place (plenty of parking--rare treat) and to hang out on the roof, which has a pretty view.
Erica goes far, far out of her way to make her guests feel welcome--her place is a 10/10--you just have to go there to see what I mean.
Erica's place is a dream come true, very clean, very modern and in a great neighborhood. She is an excellent hostess, was nice enough to let me check in a little earlier than I anticipated and was always there to answer my questions. If you have the opportunity to book this you shouldn't hesitate.
Great flat, we loved it ! It was our first time in NYC and this cozy place was perfect for us to rest after the crazy new york city, I recommend it :) Thank you Erica !
Had a fantastic stay at Erica's apartment in April. The place was perfectly clean, tidy and decor to our taste which made us feel at home! Erica had left us maps and recommendations for the area…she went above and beyond our expectations. We had a fantastic time. Stayed in the Ace hotel for the rest of our stay and it didn't compare! Highly recommend this apartment. Thanks a million X
We had a wonderful stay at Erica's apartment. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home!
The apartment was clean and clutter-free with a lot of great amenities. Erica was an excellent hostess- I particularly appreciated the list and map she left of local eateries, bars, and shops.
Amazing appt. clean. decorated with a lot of taste. awsome view from rooftop.quiet neighborg hood but well (email hidden)enty thing to do around... 10 min walk to two metro line g and L. 20$ taxi from downtown. i felt like home. thanks Erica!
After living in NYC for 8 years I would now call myself a New Yorker...although I'm originally from Ohio. I left the city for Brooklyn a few years ago and could not be happier. I'm a graphic designer by trade but also love photography, sneakers, traveling, a good dance party...oh and bacon.
I spend most (if not all) of my extra cash exploring the things I love and am always looking for ways to expand my thinking. I find that a great way to learn about yourself is to try something new!
