We're situated at the start of the Sheep's Head; it is an ideal place to sample the Sheep's Head walking routes. Walking along the ridge is amazing with fantastic views: this starts on the hill behind the house - Bantry bay, Beara, and the Kerry mountains to the north; Dunmanus bay and Mount Gabriel to the south.

There are 3 hotels and you'll find music either there or in the pubs. Ballydehob has a lively traditional session every friday night. Bike hire is on offer from Bantry if you like cycling.
