  • Francesco's house is located in an optimal place for exploring Wageningen, close to the center, near to the bus station and the cinema. He is extremely gentil and friendly, and a person very interested in self-knowledge activities (music, yoga, etc). He offers bikes to the guests and this was perfect to me treach the University every day. If you are looking (email hidden) for meeting people during your stay in the city, this is definitively a very good choice.

  • I have stayed with Francesco for 2 weeks, and have not regretted a single minute. He is the perfect host: friendly, knowledgeable about Wageningen and the wider European area, generous, entertaining, and a language genius. I have enjoyed our conversations, tee, cooking, Italian card cames, incredible CD collection, complementary bike and so much more. If several guests are (email hidden), space can be restricted, with especially the bathroom being rather small. Allergic persons beware: there are 2 cats (this is mentioned on his bnb profile). My overall rating is 6 out of 5 stars. Gratie per tutto, Francesco!

  • Francesco (email hidden) and very easy to communication with. It was great to (email hidden) which is situated in the center of Wageningen and very close to all "strategic objects". I definitely recommend staying at Franceso's place if you come to the town for a short period.

Trainer and storyteller
Hello! My name is Francesco Melita, I am a trainer and storyteller. I was born in Rome, Italy from a German mother and an Italian father. To make things even more complicated we moved to Holland when I was 13 years old. I studied in Holland agrarian sociology, married, got two beautiful daughters of 19 and 21 years old. My hobbies are: climbing, mountainbiking, karate and I keep trying to pick up meditation but my restless nature keeps me from sticking to it. I enjoy cooking Italian dinners, have a lot of friends come over and talk about god and the world. I believe humour is the salt that gives taste to our life and compassion and being there for each other is the actual dinner.
