  • A truly wonderful experience to stay with Jude and Gary, kind, generous and entertaining hosts who always had my comfort in mind. They made me feel most welcome in their elegant and comfortable home, were full of helpful tips about getting around Sydney by bus, and shared their lives with me and my English friend over bowls of miso and sushi. I would welcome them in my home in New Zealand if they chose to visit one day and would recommend them as bnb hosts to all my friends

  • I had a truely 5-star vacation here. A lovely room with TV and aircon. Comfi bed. The day started with a large fresh fruit salad and eggs or omlette. I had no time to go often to the gym and lap pool in the building block (state of the art equipment albeit small). Jude picked me up at arrival and even droped me off at the airport. We had great discussions and he and Gary seem to really love to have guests. The close airport did not disturb except one day (out of 6) when planes took off over the house. Nonetheless, it did not bother me. City is easy to reach by bus every 10-20 minutes. Back from City until midnight or 1am. Altogether i highly recommend this place.

  • Jude was a fantastic host. The apartment was, for me, located in a perfect sydney area from where I could travel to what was needed. Thanks Jude for the hospitality and a wonderful first time airbnb experience. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone visiting sydney!

    Response from Jude:

Hahah Thanks so much Fleur: as I said wanted to text and say thanks for that beautiful note you left. All the best for 2014 and hope you enjoyed the New Year Eve Fireworks! Thanks GF lol.

  • Jude is an outstanding host who really cares for your wellbeing! Not only does he take the "second B" in airbnb serious, preparing all different types of breakfast, but he takes care of your laundry, too.... Unfortunately, I had to work and couldn't go for most of his recommendations... so I have to come back! :-) Very nice and tidy place with cool views from the terrace, highly recommendable. The area is conveniently located "in in middle" between Coogee and Newtown with a frequent direct bus connection.

    Response from Jude:

Wow: Thanks Oliver........i took notes on how you wanted your bacon made lol......and thanks for such wonderful conversations on the dining table and hope to see you back in OZ and tell me all about the baby lol....all the best matey! Jude.

  • Jude (and Gary) are wonderful hosts. They made me feel at home right away and helped me with useful information and suggestions for how to structure my time in Sydney. Jude took me to get a bus pass -- which I highly recommend, as they are located outside of the city and there is a bus stop right in front of their building for easy travel to the CBD, Bondi Beach, and other destinations -- and rode into the city with me on my first day so I would get the lay of the land. Also, the pool in the gym was a definite bonus!

I'm a fairly low-maintenance guest, and Jude catered to my every need. What a wonderful first airbnb experience.

Thanks so much for everything guys!

  • Jude and Gary are gracious hosts in their lovely abode in Rosebery area if Sydney. Once I figured out public transit, it was easy to catch the bus or train near by to get into the city center area. I love how he took care in arranging for easy pickup at the airport and asked and provided what we wanted for breakfast every day. And Jude knows great places for shopping! AFF!- Aussie friends forever! Shout out to Jude! Whoop whoop!

  • Gary and I had a really good connection from the beginning. He is funny, interesting, accommodating and very easy to get along with. He is very helpful with everything from travel, transportation and all other information. I love Jude and Gary's place. The room was clean and complete from tv, cable, dvd, heater, storage space, electrical connectors, information about Sydney. I also enjoyed the yummy and healthy food! Fabulous stay and would definitely stay again and again!

hey Quincy: Thanks for the great review but I think You named Gary instead of JUDE hahahha as my name hahahah you got excited? lol all the best! Thanks for staying...Jude

  • I had a great time staying with Jude and Gary. The room was exactly as promised - comfortable and spacious.

Jude was an excellent host, taking pains to make sure I was comfortable, while at the same time respecting my privacy.

In fact, when my laptop had trouble receiving the Wifi signal, Jude relocated the router to my room, so that I would have uninterrupted access to the internet.

He was also gracious enough to pick me up from the central station, saving me the trouble of having to locate apartment.

I have no hesitations in recommending his place to other AirBnb travellers.

  • I stayed with Jude and Gary for about 21 days and felt at home from the moment I arrived. Jude offered to meet me when I arrived and his hospitality was wonderful for my entire stay - he even woke early on the day I left to drive me to the airport. The first morning I woke to eggs already made for me and the second morning a gorgeous bowl of freshly cut fruit. from then I would simply take some fruit and walk the 8kms to where I was working. It was a fantastic room which offered the privacy I value yet I could come and chat with Jude and Gary at any time..... And yes, I was incredibly grateful when I cam home and my bag of washing had been washed and shirts ironed. I would definitely stay with Gary and Jude again - there were great.

  • Jude is awesome. The moment we met, we simply connected and started talking non stop. We talked and laughed so much.
He is really a sweet and kind man. His touch of style and kindness can be seen in how he made my room, my breakfast and even little things like making sure I was ok when I was out.
The place is very convenient to the CIty and its just walking distance to the fashion outlets. A very safe and gorgeous place.
    Thank you Jude. Muacks!!
